Sims 2 is my true love. Sims 3 is that cool guy that drove into town and offered to show me the world (or worlds, lol.) I started playing Sims 3 in July and, by September, I was burnt out from sucking in information like a vacuum. I couldn't play anything for a few weeks. Nothing like that happened with Sims 4. I had fun…
I seriously started considering buying Sims 3 after just not being able to get into Sims 4. I finally bought it and started playing a few weeks ago. It's been absolutely wonderful, so far. I can't get enough of the open world...especially the ocean and the waterfall in beautiful Sunset Valley. Jaimie Jolina currently has…
I saw the news on my phone and just ran to tell someone. I am aware that I'm hungry right now as I haven't eaten in a while, but I can't get myself to do anything but stay on the forum and read comments, lol.
I was installing GTA 5 and decided to pop in here and saw thread after thread talking about only one thing. I can't believe this. I'm just blown away. First time Sims 4 has made me smile in a long time.
I stopped bothering to replace coffee and tea makers because the maid would just dispose of them. And yes, this problem has existed long before the klepto trait was introduced. Unfortunately I couldn't do without a maid becaused plates got scattered around a lot, especially when I was focused on a large household. The last…
Sorry I can't be of any help. My detective lost his job once, but it was my fault. I had deleted the criminal he was supposed to arrest so he could never solve the case. When he got his job back, the problem was solved and he could move onto a new case. Maybe quitting your sim's job could help, I don't know.
Okay, another question. I'm assuming that you completed other tasks as well, not just those involving going on patrol. Tasks such as visitng a crime scene and working on the computer and so on. Just checking. Was the green bar above the tasks filled to the max? If yes to all those then something definitely is wrong.
Did you complete most of the tasks the game lays out for you when you're on duty? As far as I know, not doing the tasks and doing your own thing is the only reason that could happen.
Thanks for starting this thread. What really surprised me about this game was that, I, who loves families and genetics, couldn't make it past the third generation, even when I wanted to. My original families remain stuck in time because I didn't feel satisfied with their bassinet babies turning into school-going kids, but…
I was disappointed and I remain disappointed, but I've accepted how things are. I never really had hope that the game would be what I need it to be. It was just a feeling I had, that things were set in stone and that Sims 4 would remain a side game for me. I'm mostly here to support those pushing for change and to be…
A few months ago, I had the most fun I had ever had playing the game, because, for inspiration as well as trying yet another way to make the game fun, I had created an anime couple I write fanfiction for. I couldn't believe how easy the game made it for me. Unfortunately, that has never been why I play The Sims. I like my…
Hi, you don't have to harvest the fruit and vegetables when they grow. Leave them on the plants until you need new stock. Nothing bad will happen to them. I used to harvest all the time and now I have about 100 of everything in the fridge. It takes very long to use up, even with 8 sims in the house.
Hanging out in Sims 4 worlds reminds me of walking around in a mall when the stores in it are closed. The worlds just feel dead. Even Windenburg with its waterworks. There's not much room for growth, even with expansions.
A tip: A quick way to finish the growfruit challenges would be to harvest growfruit from another sim's evolved tree and plant them. I had my sim harvest a 'perfect' growfruit from her friend's 'perfect' tree and in no time, she had a 'perfect' tree as well, even though the rest of the plants in her garden are still far…
I intended on using a separate family to collect the eggs, but my other sim and her housemate found all but two of the eggs while searching for a growfruit tree. It was so easy. Even as she stepped into the tree to go to Sylvan Glade, she found one. The growfruit trees have been difficult to find, though. I finally found…
I'm tired of talking about it and waiting for it to earn its name. I'm also frustrated by the words 'I hope' being used so often. Especially when it's followed by the words "... it gets fixed soon." I didn't want GT, even more so after watching LPs and constantly hearing about how beautiful Windenburg is. It all sounded so…
Okay, seeing as no one has answered yet. Before you update, always make sure to remove the Options.ini file as well when you remove your Saves folder and so on. That's where your settings are stored. Put it back in after you've updated and your settings should be the same.
I've been coming back for the active careers of GTW. Right now I'm trying out law enforcement. The job's rather meh, but I get a kick out of hanging out at the police station, tracking down and forcing the same officer to get up from the computer whenever my sim needs it, even though there are maybe four other computers…
I can't stand their phones, especially when they text who knows what sim while they're eating, making the meal drag on longer. I do like the foodie sims taking pics of their food though.
I stand corrected but what I understand about Sims 4's cleaning system, is that it seems a toilet pot, for instance, can only be cleaned once it's officially dirty and smelly. It can't be cleaned just after a sim has used it, which gives the maid much less to do, and increases the chance that the members of the household…
I want to love it, but wow. For some time there, the Halloween prizes from the contest would appear but mostly disappear from my game, and I gave up trying to use them, but that problem seemed to stop after the GT patch. The hospital strangely spawns extra employees whenever my doctor sim returns from a house call, and…
1. I've been waiting and I continue to wait, but I'm not playing it fulltime. I'm not very fond of the sims themselves. I need them to stop smiling so much and to be able to face each other when talking and so on and so on... 2. It's the new game of the series and the only one that stands a chance of being improved. Of…
When GT was first announced, I already wanted to know what's coming next. And then GT got delayed... These months have really dragged on, but finally we can move on.
You're not alone. Sims 4 is my upgrade from Sims 2, but I've had this game for about six months now and each day my interest in it dwindles more and more. It says a lot, the fact that I don't even get excited over any of the packs. Before Sims 4 came along, I wished I owned everything there is of the series, but these…
