Had to run this back: Thomas Gates and Lilith Pleasant's first encounter. Yeah, he was smitten enough for me to question his taste: A kleptomaniac loner whose cruel words can really sting. Tom just turned Young Adult and kicking off college with questionable choices. :D
Lilith Pleasant and her... something... It's a complicated relationship, but... They have a charmer of a kid together. The stories I could tell about this household. :D
[I have a household called the Gates Family. A single mother, Mrs. Valerie Gates (elder - widow), with her teenage son, Tom Gates.] Mrs. Gates aspires to be a community leader, you know, participate in politics in her retirement age? Apparently, this goal came about after her husband died <- [I normally give characters a…
I was trying to keep it simpler by having the banking system be based mainly on two things: household income and property value ... it doesn't bother calculating expenditures and try to account for circumstantial changes (Debt to income, credit etc.,). Furthermore, it's not looking beyond 7 days of reported income (which…
Just run a simple test: - Have a household sim Paint or Write a book. - Use another sim to travel out of the neighborhood. - After a while, return to the sim that's painting or writing. Was there any progression past the point you left? If you don't like that, then... - Call a teen to hang out with you in a different lot…
I'm not really sure what it is you are saying and why you are being so defensive. There's only one thing that makes our argument superior to yours in every sense of the word and it's called ... the Loading Screen. Does your game have to load a neighborhood of a town every time you travel outside the boundaries? ... Yes??…
If there was a "Bring your child to work day" that would be a really nice touch. Seasons was also an opportunity for the game to have workplaces hosting Christmas parties or something ...
The game simply lacks creativity on this front. If your created household has $15K to start, you should be able to rent a fairly nice place at $1200 per week, with maybe a $5,000 to $7,500 down payment (depending on whether you want the place furnished). But currently the game forces you to pay cash for a $14K starter home…
And then preceded to drop the mic B) I don't know if they will have be able to clean out all the bugs. Sims 3 was laced with many .. they haven't been fixed to this day ..
Exactly! Your Montagues and Capulets ... but we know how that ends. Don't. Use. Potions! :# It's bizarre that when your Sim starts raking wealth and buying out business after business (Remembering S3), you never catch the hateful eye of the Landgraab family ... I had hoped something like that would be introduced in the…
What you said here, is really stunning: Sims can already "think about family members", so why not push this further? Sims should be allowed to have memorabilia that they can view and be emotionally affected by them. There are urns to mourn the dead, get sad and cry for hours. However, there should equally be a baseball bat…
I just recently found out that the Fear emotion doesn't exist. That's shocking considering you can die from all other emotions and if there is an emotion I wouldn't question a sim dying from ... it's fear.
- YES! A world without vehicles just doesn't make much sense. I don't really mind that the world is in sections, the image of a car in the lot completes the picture. Just imagine being in Selvadorada with a Wrangler parked somewhere. Mint. - I think with jobs they are more focused on Career fields than actual job…
Thanks for sharing your thread buddy! You have some really great ideas. I'll also add @gothprincess4ever because I think you guys are on to something, so I'll throw in my 2 cents as well. I would completely do away with the current Trait system given how dominating the Emotion system is. So rather than having to choose…
Love the University idea. Considering how the Sims 4 world is set up in sections, a University EP would slot in perfectly without the need to freeze time in the other worlds (towns). Maybe there could be an option to rent a room at the university dorms while still having your own personal lot to pay for. Add any other…
At this point I'll take a Game Pack. When the Retail feature in Get to Work introduced the idea of having separate Funds and Financial Statements, I thought it would finally be possible to be in the red ... but no, $0.00 is the lowest amount of money you can have. So purchasing a lot remains the same: if you can't afford…
The next thing I would like to see is An improved rental system. Some properties (both houses and apartments) should have rental options. This would be necessary since you would lack the ability to get a loan at the start of the game. There should also be pros and cons for renting instead of owning. Benefits - Cost of…
Absolutely! Once Seasons EP came, that was it for the S3 for me. Uninstalled it and made the full dive to the Sims 4. I can almost forgive its blatant insult for the bare bones Base Game now ... almost lol :D Maybe with a Late Night/Show Time EP I will finally get over it. I'm excited to see what comes next.
I met one once ... it's called The Sims 4. Honestly, I was incredibly shocked by it to the point that I waited to play it until more EPs and updates came out. A 4 year Sims 3 hangover lol.
