I have had people move in together as roommates, but no one ever gets married. There are plenty of babies being born in town, but the parents are never together. I have found tons of gnomes when I send gems out to be cut. They come back with the cut stones. I have also found gnomes while fishing. I find them all the time! Sometimes they're a nuisance because they get in the way, and turn on the tv while someone is napping! LOL! :)

If your game is currently working, then many here would advise that you not even try to install the patches - any of them.

I have used mods and player created custom content from the beginning. Maybe EA has too much on their plate to be able to give the attention to detail that we're all looking for from them. Who knows, but honestly, I've found that mods help my game run better. And as long as they don't crash your game, I say Go for it! ;)…

What I think is crap is that I no longer have a choice in the matter at all. What if I WANT my sims to be able to move away? What if I really don't want a neighborhood filled with relations? We all play the Sims differently, which is one of the draws for this game. EA however, is trying to make us all play it the same way…

I can certainly understand why people would want some families protected and not be removed through story progression. However, EA took this way too far, in my opinion. I always add families to my neighborhood that are SUPPOSED to be governed by story progression. That's part of the fun of the living neighborhood - for me.…
