  • I love everything in the OP. Honestly, I'd rather have like one large gamepack that has tons of all kinds of clutter rather than a bunch of minikits, but anything that gives me more clutter is A+ in my book. I exclusively build in the Sims and I would guess that full 50% of all my CC is decorative items & clutter.
  • You mostly asked about gameplay stuff, but I do want to add that if you're mainly interested in more lots, Glimmerbrook only has five lots, so it's a pretty small world.
  • There are a lot of things that will make me less interested in the newer Sims - if the multiplayer ends up more like an MMO rather than "play with your friend," if the build tools aren't as robust, or if the business model seems even more costly than Sims already is. However, I think that will REALLY draw the line for me…

In case anyone else is looking, I found this: https://zerbu.tumblr.com/post/190411006875/the-sims-4-mod-copy-worlds-experimental I haven't tested it yet but it seems to do this.
  • RE: Amazon profiting from this Curseforge is no longer owned by Twitch. It was at one point, but a couple years ago it was sold to Overwolf. They're no longer affiliated in any way. [source: was a twitch employee during the sale, although I'm sure there are public records of this as well]
  • I have had this issue with CAS clothing items but since you're also missing your head....
  • > @jandenb said: > what's the aging problem? afaik it's fixed. it was a bug with a past update.
  • Games this substantial take time and the game is early in development. Wouldn't surprise me if it came out even later than 2026, but that got my vote. I'd rather be wrong and pleasantly surprised than expect it years before it's actually due.
  • I put "no" but I guess realistically if the cost ended up being cheaper long term than buying a bunch of DLCs over the life of the game, I might. But it would not only require it to be very low cost, but content would have to be released very frequently for me to justify paying. But probably not, really.

  • I don't really understand how one can form an opinion since we've seen so little of either, especially Sims 5. Even Paralives is still very early in development, although what they've shown definitely looks nice. Ultimately it will probably come down to personal preference in terms of aesthetics or gameplay, but I also…
  • > @Rouensims said: > Right now, I'm playing with only one mod: Zerbu's mod to allow Sims to live in Granite Falls and Selvadorada. Oh man, that sounds like something I need to get. Does it let you set the lots to residential, or do you still need to use the Haunted House trick?
  • I have a number of CC spandrels, foundations and roof trims. New account so I can't link but check House of Harlix. The ORJANIC set has spandrels that sound like what you are describing (plus a lot of other nice things).
  • I'm not sure if this is possible, but I feel like if it is possible it must exist somewhere because I know it's a common complaint: WCIF CC that lets me save or copy accessory loadouts in CAS so I don't need to manually duplicate makeup/glasses/piercings/whatever on every single outfit?
  • I'm very impressed with the alpha CC out there and some of the amazingly lifelike sims people have made, but maxis match for me. I agree with the poster who said some of it hits too close to the uncanny valley for me, and overall I actually really like the Sims bright, cartoony style. I have a few alpha-style CC (both CAS…
  • I really think the game needs "Loves Holidays" and "Hates Holidays" traits. I don't like that the game decides for you that your Sim "really likes" holidays and gets sad if they cancel or don't complete all the requirements, but conversely it would also be fun if Sims that liked holidays had reason to go above and beyond…
  • Blender, toaster, single-serve coffee and tea maker probably top my list, but I'd also really like a countertop cupcake machine. I literally never have used the one in game because it's way too big, and it's dumb to need CC for that stuff.
