Being able to knit clothing, toys, and household items is obviously a must, but what else are you looking for with knitting in The Sims 4? Gift giving? Profitable Crafting? Funny failures? Joker smile is the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw it as well. Made me giggle. As far as the pack itself. I'll get it. I'm a collector and have been for 19 years. Glad to see military career is back, but there isn't enough information yet to get me excited for it yet though.

Well, you choose one of 4 skins. Hamster is banded orange and white, rat is grey, hedgehog is grey and white, bulbulis or whatever is mostly purple. You can't change the color of the pet, just choose the pet. You buy the cage from build/buy and then choose the pet you want. There is no customization for the pet.

The majority that I have seen both here and other areas are people saying don't buy it if you have a problem with it. If this had been a Game pack, with a plethora of small pets (birds, reptiles, ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc etc etc) that had fun interactions beyond view/feed/pet I would have been super on board. But... This is an abomination. Not the content itself per se. Some of it looks nice and I would greatly enjoy more types…

I'm kind of torn on TS4 horses. I love horses, and I am all for more animals in general. I'd love small animals that actually had interactions beyond feed/watch. Toddlers, while very cute in TS3 (most of the time. Not the stretchy mutants at the start >.<), where lacking .... severely (compared to TS2). Personally, i paid little attention to them until children. i play TS2 when i crave good generational play.

You have to go to manage worlds, click on the house where the family is currently living, and manage household. The option to split the household is in there. The game isn't open right now, so i can't specify the exact steps, i'm sorry. i really do miss being able to just choose "move out". /sigh

My sim's husband was sad for 2 days when she died. Wouldn't stop crying for anything... yet her son didn't even seem to notice mom kicked the bucket. Still trying to figure out why the dramatic differences in reactions.

i am just confused why the complaining over a "wall of text" (that actually isn't a wall o' text), when it is on a forum. A place that's sole purpose is to provide things to read. This boggles the mind... complaining about reading more than a text message amount, on a forum.

Yep, more than likely the day/ night toggle. Though it's not new. I know we had it in TS2 since I am currently playing that. Pretty sure it was in 3 too but I haven't played that in over a year, so I can't be sure.

Honestly, I could do without the walk styles. Don't get me wrong, it's a cute idea, but most are way too over the top. And two of them are essentially the same, just the facial expression is different. I'd only see myself using three of them. The others are way too over acting to see in the game constantly.

I actually reinstalled it earlier today. Haven't played it in years. Partially due to Sims 3 annoying me so much at times I just walked away from the franchise and then WoW sucked me in. i see you stating the bolded portion a lot. The thing is, EA actually greatly ignored that portion of their fanbase in TS3. I think TS4 is going to take a massive hit in sales to be honest. Let me explain: TS3 was bright and shiny, people were drooling. They sold really well.
