We may have pizza already, but definitely need more types. I risk Sims community social pariah status for this, but--dadburnit, I want Hawaiian! LOADED with pineapple, please!
I so want stockings! Even just for decor. And if Sims could knit stockings!!! My brother and I each have a beloved, gigantic stocking my grandmother knitted for us when we were born. They're beautiful, and huge because at the last second, she forgot how to turn the heel. They don't get filled anymore (lest they break), but…
I like it for the most part, though if I'm planning a sitdown meal I have to make sure to set the table and have everyone in the room before I call to meal, otherwise half the family's finished before the other half even makes it downstairs.
I miss Sims being able to cry on other Sims' shoulders. Sending them to cry themselves to sleep seems isolating and emotionally unhealthy to me. I also wish that social interactions based on mood were more specific, rather than just "Complain About Problems" or "Ask for Advice". I.e., "Complain About Tiredness", "Rant…
We own pigs on and off in real life, and they're great for clearing and fertilizing garden land. You could feed them scraps to get fertilizer. On the processing side, they could give meat and lard--which is what my mom uses to make her amazing pie crust.
If you're not on console, I think there's a mod for that. I saw it on a CallMeKevin video, he had a character he named "Default" that just felt...fine. (Not making fun of your suggestion, I swear, it just seemed like it might work for what you're talking about.)
Flipping ROOFS--particularly for angled or octogonal buildings--are the bane of my Sims 4 existence. I hate how octogonal roofs snap-to at a certain size and you have to keep resizing the room to make the dang thing fit. I love all of these ideas, keep them coming!
@GirlFromIpanema My nanny will NOT stop calling my now-adult Sims and showing up at their new house--not even the one he babysat them in, they've moved out and started their own lives, but he's all "NANNY will ALWAYS be there for you, DEARIE." It's worse than the Get Famous "Stan" quirk.
The canning station and chicken coop are equally tempting...Right now it doesn't feel like you can do much with harvested fruits and veggies except use them as ingredients or quick snacks. I'd love to make jams, preserves and pickles. Additionally, the presence of chickens and other poultry would diversify cooking…
My Sims are obsessed with staying hydrated. Everytime I turn around they're heading to the sink for another glass of water. Bro, you can't be that thirsty.
That's a great idea! I just feel like it's so hard to get extended family members involved with grandkids and nieces/nephews, having them babysit seems like a good way to build relationship--I mean, as it stands now the nanny shows up for a day and is best friends with your toddler for life.
I want an undeveloped new world with empty lots we could shape to become whatever we want...we have Newcrest but it has neighborhood house shells that kind of mess up the vibe for me.
I did not know this was more than a one-off occurence, delighted to discover it's not. Wish there were more things like this to give Sims depth of character.
Sindocat, thank you so much! I've been a lurker on Carl's site for ages and love the content, it's great to know there's a forum community on there, somehow I missed that. I really appreciate it.
I'm a sucker for covered wagons, vast wildernesses, and living off the land. I'd love it if EA offered us a prairie-type world that's undeveloped, and a system was implemented similar to Eco Lifestyle where your choices can affect the world's development. Either it remains rural or becomes a bustling cityscape. It would be…
All of my seedy bars look pretty lacking without a pool table. Foosball just doesn't have the same effect. Maybe a pool table could come with an arcade kit? Pool, air hockey, claw machine, etc.?
And that's cool. I just think it would be cute. And some cultures make a bigger deal out of the "smaller" graduations. When my biological father finished kindergarten and started first grade in Germany, he wore a little suit and got a giant paper cone full of candy and chocolates. (I think it's called a Schultüte?) Which I…
I definitely want this. I also want more interactions and emotions from the pregnant Sim's family. In Sims 3, we had options like "talk to baby" or "listen to baby", and it was so cute. I'd like to see the pregnant Sim's partner have a moodlet for the duration of the pregnancy as well, it's weird just the mom has one. It…
