There have been a few updates since I last stopped by this here thread, with the latest being: Chapter 12: Baby Love: In this week's update, Addison finds out his life is about to change, but something about the whole situation strikes him as a little fishy. Also be sure to check out the preceding chapters, which I did not…
Thanks! I'm still not sure leaving in that whole potato chip thing was a good idea, but it's out there in the world now so I can't really take it back. As far as the frogs go... well, of course. Frogs are almost as important as pockets.
Another week, another update. In Chapter 9: Kiss on My List, Addison has a date over for Winterfest, goes for it right in front of Nalani's salad, and learns that some metaphors are better than others.
You are very much allowed. Feedback of any kind is always appreciated! You can even say if you think something sucks, since most of the feedback I get comes from my wife and she's probably far too nice to tell me when I've gone off the rails.
Chapter 8: The Fool on the Hill is now live. In this week's update, Addison is once again visited by the exotic stranger, and struggles to remain outside the confines of his own turban-wrapped skull.
I know it's been a while since you asked, but I've been working on the assumption that it requires a Sim to die in each of the possible ways, and not just 10 of them. I haven't been able to find anything authoritative on it, though, so that's just my interpretation.
I've been a little swamped and just got back in here, and find out the Rex Legacy had been featured was a really nice surprise. Thanks for making my weekend a weekend ago!
Been a bit swamped with work lately, so I came back here after a couple weeks away to find out about the Friday highlight thing. Coolness! Belated thanks for the comments; my weekend has been made. There have been a couple updates since then, because I was smart enough to queue some up ahead of time: In Chapter 6:…
Chapter 5: Midnight at the Oasis is now live. Actually, it's been live since Saturday, but the long weekend got my sense of time all screwed up and I neglected to tell anyone. In this week's episode, Addison starts a new job, discovers the truth behind the rash of Bigfoot sightings in Del Sol Valley, and finds an alternate…
I guess beginner's luck really is a thing. I'm grateful and appreciative and I feel like I'm about to break out in a Sally Fieldesque acceptance speech, so I should probably quit while I'm ahead.
Doesn't seem all that strange to me. My approach is pretty similar... I screenshot like mad and then go back to the mess I've made and try to build a story around it.
In the spirit of blatant exploitation, partial nudity, and questionable taste, The Poindexter Lazy is proud embarrassed to present Revision 1.16: The Swimsuit Edition.
Today's entry is a twofer: Not only is is an update, but it's also an entry in @Carewren123's latest Short Story Challenge. Revision 1.14, The One Ring, is the story of a man of little means attempting to provide a wedding ring worthy of his new bride. That man is Edison Poindexter, so of course, it all goes horribly wrong.
I stumbled on this thread via a link at @CathyTea's site. I'm new at this, so be gentle. "The One Ring" is the story of a man who has nothing trying to prove his worth to a woman who is his everything, and to himself. As men will often do, he screws it up royally. I've woven it in to the Poindexter saga, but tried to write…
Thanks! Sometimes it's a little frightening when the randomly-generated Sims change outfits... Onward and upward... In Revision 1.13, Here's to You, Mrs. Poindexter, Edison makes some major changes in his living situation, with a little help from the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

It may be Monday, but that doesn't mean we can't celebrate. In Revision 1.12, Lounging Around, Edison pays the price for a little too much weeknight partying, and learns a hard lesson about always keeping a close eye on all of your electronic devices.
Thank you very much, @Julyvee94, and for the comments on the site. Feedback is always appreciated, but "Love this!" is the best kind. ;) Just finished updating Revision 1.11. In The End of an Era, Edison finds that upside of spending too much time at a night club, and makes one of the biggest decisions of his life with a…
Rolling right along. In Revision 1.10, Edison the Burninator, Edison learns his lesson about meddling with forces far more powerful than himself, and why a true geek always keeps an extra stockpile of cardigans ready for deployment.
Thanks so much, @ThePlumbob ! Just put up today's update. In Revision 1.9, Getting Warmer/Getting Colder, Edison takes on a new project at the science lab, and discovers there's more to cold than just frapuccinos and snowballs. Like, for example, minor surgery.
Been a long time since I popped in here. I've lost a couple legacies due to computer malfunctions (the Archer and Ganymede legacies, unfortunately, were derailed by an exploding hard drive). Never one to give up, though, I've started a new Exemplar legacy with the ultimate goal of having geeks take over the world. I figure…
This isn't sexism... it's clearly a glitch. The game normally doesn't send kids into day care unless all adults who live in the house are gone. It's either a bug, or the father wasn't a resident of the house. I swear some people look for the worst in everything.
When I upload something, I figure it belongs to everyone else. I don't expect to be credited for anything anyone might do with it. I do this stuff for fun, and share something if I think it's cool enough to warrant it. If it was a job or something I might care more, but it's not, so I don't.
