Actually it seems the Sims is the only game where necessity of material gain is so rampant. Surely there were always donation bottoms and stuff like this everywhere, but this early access and paywalling (and harassing, doxing, sharing personal information, faking legal documents etc.) is getting out of hand. So in my…
No it doesn't. These discussions should take place in the right places and with the right organizations, and EA is not one then. Customer rights though should be EA's concern indeed and they just chose to violate them as their product was not banned or restricted by the government, they just decided not to provide it to…
Oh I am sorry, so you have to be a political activist in order to be allowed to play this game or what? Regardless of their sexualities, opinions and relations with their government, Russian players are /were paying costumers who spent tons of money on this game just like everybody else and should be treated accordingly by…
Based on quotes fror her tweets it was about their presentation of content aka the cover and maybe the trailer. I am also interested in who asked them and on what legal grounds exactly. I mean someone can ask and throw a fit as they want but there is no legal ground yet to ban the game or this pack in particular in Russia…
I also find it rather interesting, that the reasoning in the English version of the letter is different from the Russian one. Their reasoning for English speakers is federal laws (which ones I wonder) and for Russian speakers - their "values" only, because Russian players know exactly, that their laws would not prohibit…
None actually. As far as I've seen on Russian speaking sites, and it is only a rumor at this point, some children's TV channels refused to advertise the pack with this cover and trailer (witch is confusing, because the whole game is rated 18+ in Russia, so how can they advertise anything at all?), other than that there are…
Russian govt haven't ban anything. They set the entire game rating to 18+ long ago and that was it. This decision is entirely on EA, apparently they decided that Russia is not worthy of their product out of a sudden.
I don't play TS4 anymore bc I am old-fashioned and would like to play a satirical life simulator, not a safe space twitter simulator, and that makes me not welcome as an EA customer anymore. I just pop up for some news (and mostly lols tbh) and yet there is something I don't get here: why must the sim's pronounce be…
They look sick (or worse) or something, but I guess this is at least Twitter-friendly, which is all that matters for EA these days. Oh and to those "experts" from the community: Dina and Nina had green eyes, not brown.
OMG... I have no words, not appropriate on this forum anyway. I've seen people saying, yet again, it should have been in a free update and I am actually happy it is not because those patches are mandatory, you have to install them at some point and this stuff will be in your game weather you want it or not. Thankfully one…
Coolspear wrote in the linked text: "The next mod types I'll be working on are the Improved/quicker Eating and Drinking mods and sit at tables and such the like. The game is simply awful without them, I just can't bare to watch, waiting in agony, as they eat and drink in dreadful default rules. So maybe a couple of weeks…
I am not a fan of GC program as such tbh. There was no such thing during THS2 and TS3 period and it was just fine this way. Otherwise it looks like: we are all for equality and stuff, but some peeps are more "equal" than others (based exclusively on their sub count, not quality of their content and talent hehe).
I don't even know, why I am writing this since I've gone back into playing Sims 3 and I don't think I'll return anytime soon. But maybe I'll tell you at least why, it can be considered as feedback if you will. In the long run, The Sims 4 is just too boring, too safe, too childish and way too sweet. It lacks depth,…
