I recommend to make use of Save As more often. If not for separate universes, then for it's most important function - backup. If you have multiple saves you have some insurance in case a save goes corrupt (which it always does, either through buggy code or events that you don't like in your save but didn't even notice for…
@sansa357 loading from the library (offline saves in your documents folder) does not count, loading from the gallery (online) does. Also, using your own gallery as a cloud backup is up to you and would still be considered fair use. Nobody would judge you for this. @DragonAge_300905 I wish you were right about this, but it…
I play with aging off, so there is no need for me to rush anything, and pretty much any task in TS4 can be solved easily with a little patience. I never use cheats to achieve any goals like aspirations etc. After all I bought this game to play it, not to get it done as quickly as possible. BUT... I use a broad supporting…
@Stutum There was a bug that still should "work" - If you moved the sim to another household in Manage Households and afterwards moved them back in the mail man forgot about your sim's celebuserum perk. To make it work again you would have to reset your perks as described by Chazzzy. @Chazzzy There is a bug for that too -…
Welcome back. For pet age see this thread: https://forums.thesims.com/en_us/discussion/929111/how-long-does-it-take-for-pets-to-age You can age them up (and down, I think) with treats you can buy at the vet or craft at the vet lab. For retail see here:…
Glad it worked out for you. As for "Save" or "Save As", I agree with paradiseplanet. There seems to be no limit to how many saves you can store with "Save As", but you can only recover the last five saves from a single save file.
Cold weather seasonal fashion. Ever since summer and winter categories were introduced with Seasons the latter was totally neglected, so I really hope for some Winter Whatever pack that keeps my sims warm. As for two and three, bug fixes are always welcome.
My evil side wishes for them to be made of Dalmatian puppies. A nice boudoir also needs a concealed wallpaper door... ...and a Patrick Bateman style closet (what are these called in English?)
I guess my definition of boudoir differs a little from "bedroom", but if this is about beds it's worth mentioning that TS4 is the only iteration that (so far) is missing a heart-shaped bed.
A good start would be to use Styled Looks instead of haphazardly mixing single CAS items together. Of course the library of available looks would have to be a little larger, otherwise a lot of randos would look the same. BTW, if this really drives you crazy... have you tried MCCC? There is a feature to use existing…
I could totally live with it if the devs never get around to implement another of the currently 4,200 religions worldwide, including zodiac signs. I do like Zombies, though.
There are university mascots and the Britechester and Foxbury logo can be seen on different types of clothing, I hope the swatches of the athlete career's cheerleader outfit get an update to include these too.
You are right about not being able to purchase them via Simazon, but I could live with supporting my local book store, in terms of storytelling. The books do not disappear, you can restock them indefinitely. EDIT: Also, these wouldn't be the only books not available from a computer or bookshelf, it's pretty much the same…
The club system seems like the perfect tool to create bands, though. It just would need a few modifications, band related activities etc. After all, a band is kind of a club. And I agreee about the drums. How much more fun would the loud childhood phase be with drums >:)
Hopefully not a rabbit hole career. I'd love to do all the "culling" manually. And we would need a Waffle Haus where all the reapers go and get their assignments.
This thread was started before Get to Work was released, so it might be worth mentioning that having a retail store where your sims sell their own books works fine. There may be one bug, though. Books that are bought in that store can't be read if they are placed on the floor or a surface, only from the bookshelf menu. But…
Painting and flower arranging (I wouldn't have thought of the latter) are very lucrative when done with higher skill levels, and gardening is essential for many aspects of my game play, but I recently discovered retail and, if money was my only concern, retail would be my choice. I usually make 500 to 700k per 24 hour…
I really don't see anyone outside the US feeling familiar with the experience of having to pass through the guns'n'ammo aisle while shopping for CDs and furniture.
I am probably a little late to realize that there is a Moschino pack coming. And this first part is just a matter of personal taste (which you can either agree or disagree with, though there is no pressure to do either of it). I wouldn't want to be cremated in these rags. If it was possible to uninstall single CAS items,…
There is too much passion between us three for real hate, but I know they are watching me. James Comey does so too, so it's probably a wise choice. Alexa = Skynet. Technological singularity at work.
Well, after downloading yesterday's patch I started TS4 and was blinded by the horrific beauty of the new loading screen. Then my 26 inch screen suddenly bit the dust, so today I spent most of my free time hunting down offers of my local tech stores. It was time consuming and came with unexpected costs, but there was one…
