  • Not planning to buy this but it does look like they have some interesting mechanics going on in the game from their little walk-through thing.
  • I'm going to buy Goth Galore but I'm really, really kitted out. Unless they are gameplay kits, but we haven't seen one of those since the inception of kits so...yeah.
  • Interesting lol. I'm either always out or always in, and either way, I'm a bit messy, I talk to myself and I can be loud so...I guess I really am a troublemaker after all. This is why I don't have roomies :D
  • Not sure if this counts, but I plan to do a little CC spring cleaning since the folder is getting a little too big for my liking. I want to get at least one of my 2 saves to Gen 10 (I'm on 7/8 now with one of them so it seems feasible) and get more into the gameplay for Home Chef Hustle and For Rent.
  • It says 7,424 hours but there have been times when I played offline so I'm not exactly sure. That's since 2014. Crazy that it's almost 10 years in. I hope they give us something decent for the anniversary.
  • I own most of the packs/kits, bought at full price and no regrets. Thoroughly enjoying the game.
  • I get about 2-4 hours a day. I haven't been playing as much on the weekends because I actually have a little social life now, but when I have free weekends I play 4+ hours.
  • Alice Martin, adorable Strangerville sweetheart :)
  • I save to another drive on my computer for now but I want to get an external hard drive. I only back it up when I put serious mods in my game. I had to get UI Cheats a couple days ago so I backed it up then. My only advice would be to back up your game more frequently than I do. If you play a lot, biweekly. If not, maybe…
  • Just bought the Luxe kit and I'm kinda disappointed. I just wanted that bed to be 15k simoleons or more. It's a lowly thousand dollar bed. What is LUXE about a bed that's a grand when there's a bed that is 15?!? Good items but they're super super cheap. My sims have money - they need things to spend that money on that look…
  • Been here since the beginning, as I have been with every iteration of The Sims. I love jet skiing in beautiful Sulani, and going to festivals in vibrant San Myshuno. I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did, but I loved raising a llama, chickens and a family in Henford-on-Bagley. Sims 4 has been good to me, and if Sims…
  • Actual unpopular opinions in the broader online Sims community/fandom: I actually don't care for LBY, as I was never a Sims 3 fan or a Rod Humble fan. The graphics look hideous. Paralives looks better, but so far it just seems like a rehash of The Sims, with lower graphics on the sims themselves. I think it's hilarious…
  • I don't reference a floor plan but I do google what kind of exterior I'm going for (modern, country etc) and just use that as a reference when building. My houses aren't like the works of art on the gallery but they are mine and most of the time, I create something satisfying for me and my sims.
  • I built my PC for The Sims 4 in 2014 and with the exception of starting the game up (which still takes less than 3 mins), it runs very well. My mods folder is a little less than 12 GB and it's all CC, no major mods to the game like MCCC or anything like that.
  • I'm a third for Outdoor Retreat. Considering what they've done with Snowy Escape and now Growing Together, and what they've done with Spa Day I think they can add so much more! Would love to see updated hiking with like 4 hiking trails that actually go up a mountain or something - and maybe one of them offers a fantastic…
  • 2 is probably the average for me, but I'm planning to make one of my current sims a father of at least 6.
  • I only edit the things that we would normally "edit" in real life - clothes, hair etc. I like my sims to look like their unique selves, even if they don't have conventional good looks. I still love 'em!
  • These are my fears. I really want to buy this EP but all these features (key choices, milestones, midlife crises and the obnoxious return of "chemistry") feels like an intrusion on my play style. I really hope we can turn it off. I'll wait for the Livestream to confirm but I'm not feeling good about it. I don't want random…
  • Can't tell at this point but I'm pretty loyal to The Sims franchise so I'm betting that Sims 5 will be more to my liking. Unless they revert back to The Sims 3, I'll probably be happy. I kinda feel bad for the Paralives team because there are a lot of people expecting big things from them and if they can't deliver and the…
  • I'm probably going to buy them at some point. I don't mind these kits - I like clothes and stuff. But I think we have so much clothes and stuff. We could use some more gameplay and building-focused kits.
  • Why would they? Their smile stays fresh and white no matter what lol. But I do it sometimes for the confidence or the little hygiene boost.
  • My one suggestion is that if they decide to use the color wheel for hair, eyes and skin color, that they figure out how to make it work in conjunction with genetics. There's no point in me choosing brown hair highlights and violet eyes in CAS if that means my sim's kid might come out with weird green highlights and yellow…
  • This. Everything is far superior to the simplicity of The Sims and I really feel like the general hatred of Sims 4 is clouding people's judgement on this poll.
  • With a reference picture, I can do a pretty good imitation of the exterior - not exact, but you would recognize the place lol. Freehand, from the "vision" in my head? Can range anywhere from decent to disaster. Landscaping is a nightmare but I think my interior design skills are not too shabby.
  • This was tough but I don't love my job (don't hate it, just don't love it) and being an adult means that a lot of my time is spent doing things I'd rather not do. If I never got tired again and I could just stay up and have more time for myself, I'd take it in a heartbeat.
  • Almost chose other but there's a lot I haven't done yet in the game and it's near impossible for me to get bored with the sims I've created. The choices they make may seem the same as the last however many sims I've played, but it's different because they each have their own story that makes them unique and loveable to me.
  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! The Tunnel of Love. The Haunted House. THE FERRIS WHEEL!!!! Even if they're all just rabbit holes, I'm still crying lol! Just give me a rollercoaster, some bumper cars and a carousel in the future and I'm good. I'm highly excited but I need to see how this will be…
  • Just hoping/waiting for an amusement park pack. Maybe it can go along with the hotels because I'm thinking big, like Disney - a whole world built around the rides and attractions, things for every age (from toddler to elder) to get up to, that you can visit for one day or for 10, etc.
