I remember there was some sort of height setting cheat in TS2 and it worked OK to a certain extent... @bariaxy thanks for sticking up for me ;D Sorry to those who have seen this alot, I don't look at the forums much :{
They should have it so that Sims are only in clubs that you've got your Sims in... if you get what I mean? Like, there are only Sims in a bar that you enter... o-o Or something. I don't know I haven't got the game yet.
I reckon they won't have an entire EP just for seasons but include weather and seasons in the next EP. There isn't a reason to have an entire EP for Seasons. The reason there was an EP just devoted to Seasons in TS2, though, was because they included Gardening and other features that are already in TS3's base game.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE ONE THAT'S FOR PC. It won't work and you'll have wasted money! I think they're going to upload a Mac version for Direct Download. I hope so anyways because that's how I'm going to get it! Just wait until tomorrow (the release date) and it should be there.
I think there's alot of reality missing from the games. The three EPs avalible lack alot and are quite basic when you zoom out (not literally speaking). For example, World Adventures, although pretty stunning, only allowed you to go on holiday and explore. Ambitions unlocked some (but few) furniture and opened up new types…
I found the same problem with Ambitions. The new lots were placed lazily and scatteredly in Sunset Valley so I moved to Twinbrook. Looks like the same problems gonna occur when I get Late Night. They should try and adapt the TS2 method of things (added neighborhoods to your world for each EP) because that would be quite…
I reckon the Snowy Mountains are a clue to the next EP. In Ambitions, there was a view of a City from Twinbrook so I'm guessing that the Snowy Mountains are suggesting a Seasons type EP in the future!
Haven't got it yet although I might wait for getting it because of all the glitches i've heard about. It seems a bit like a combination of The Sims Superstar and The Sims 2 Nightlife, so if you liked those EPs you should defiantly buy it.
This ^ On my old computer it took about half an hour to get from putting the disk in to actually playing although there is alot of mods and CC for TS2. Anyways, I'm now on a mac so I can't go back.
Twinbrooks all about Ghost Hunting. The mist is suposed to mean nearby spirits or something o.O As for Ghosts, theres graves everywhere... I find theres hardly any people around. One time, though, in the salon (at about midnight, don't ask why my sim was there) The Knack Couple randomly walked in. Spooky..
I feel that the base game has alot in itself already which is why the EPs aren't 'content filled.' If you think about it, WA is quite a big EP. It has travel destinations and new skills, recipes etc. It also opens up a lot more cloths and hair but on your part I feel that WA is a bit useless if you don't want to be on…
I'm not sure but I think it's just a bit like the out of game Create A Sim for The Sims 2. Like, instead of buying the actual Sims 3 Game, you could buy that and use the Create a Sim Feature..
I wouldn't usually mind about in game ads. But now that the game is becoming laggier and laggier, ads will just increase the slowness. So, I also agree.
