On the EA app it has its own tab for me. To the far left, under Library it says Lunar New Year Sale. It ends February 20th.

I find it fun as well, or else I wouldn't do it. My thing is I don't "play" with packs until I update my save. So by the time the community is itching for another pack, I'm just getting started with the previous ones. The good thing is, it gives me something to do during dry spells.

I think it depends on your computer and the amount of mods/cc you use. Without mods, my save where I use everything in every world runs fine. With mods, it loads a little slower. They're most likely humans with green skin. That's been my experience. In my alien legacy, I had 3 green-skinned kids in the 2nd generation. Out of 4 children in that generation, only 1 was an alien. I loved my little green sims. The first two had black hair and they looked like mini Hulks.

Another thing you could do, if you're just missing files in the Documents folder, is rename your Sims 4 folder to something like "Sims 4.old". Start the game and the game will generate another folder. Close the game and copy/paste your Saves, Tray, and Options files to the newly generated folder.
