Hey... this is a similar message to the one I left on Plumbob's story the other day - I've been following since the early chapters and have only decided to appear and start talking now. Sorry, I guess? Plot Characters Lore Misc So, um, yeah! That was my worryingly long take on this. Maybe I'll pick up the mic more in the…
Hi, is this thing on? Oh, it is. Hello. I've been ghosting on this thread since what... Chapter 5? I think? I just haven't spoken yet. I do that a lot. Anyway, here's the latest feedback/praise message draft I will probably never send... Is the story different from what you originally expected? What was your favourite and…
Well, I don't have any published SimLit, but I am writing a novel at the moment. And for me, I get these ideas for characters and a world and all of that. But for those characters to be convincing, they have to have flaws. For the world to have any touch of believability, it has to have conflict. No story works without an…
I loaded it up on the first day (having not yet read the patch notes), and was immediately shocked. The menu was fine before, they didn't need to change it. The whole 'packs' thing just seems like blatant advertising. I don't hate it; having the patch notes and the newsfeed is kind useful, but I still don't like it. The…
@Chicklet453681 - this drives ne crazy as well, and I don't even play much with premades; if I make a new save just for building, I don't want to have to make a sim for it. The other annoying thing is not being able to choose what the default festivals are. I use the same custom ones for almost every save, and it's…
Yes, 100%. But I'd like it if they added a toggle for the non-occult players, and also I want them to have a power ranking system like Spellcasters and Vampires do, not just pre-set powers like Mermaids and Aliens. And it'd be great if they could weave in some interconnection with the vampires pack, with rivalries and…
As with any pack that you aren't sure about, wait for a sale. That way, you'll either have gotten a good deal (if you like the pack) or saved some money from being lost (if you don't like the pack). Win-win.
The lack of autosaving really, really bugged me when I first started playing the game, especially as I had a really janky computer back then. I'm more used to it now, but this is seriously one of the most-needed updates for the Sims 4.
My biggest problem in terms of this is how fast sims' needs drain, because if I'm playing a large household then needs management is all I'm ever able to do. I wish there were settings that let us choose how fast to drain needs - I can cheat it, but I don't always want to have to cheat.
It's a nice idea, but maybe it could be done via some sort of inheritance system, as randomly going to a house of someone you don't know and stealing the kids there is kinda creepy.
Not really. I love my sim kids a lot. BUT there have been a few who have annoyed me over the years, like the first legacy spare I had - she got in the way and needed attention a lot. But she's a teen now, so all is resolved. I've never had problems with real kids (but then again I'm not a parent).
Normally I'd make a new sim, but in this case my legacy heir Iliana is gonna be heading up the mountain. I literally randomised her trait as 'active' at the moment that the trailer dropped, and as she's getting married soon I thought it'd make a fun honeymoon.
