My dislike for Aliens is my strongest feeling about the Sims. Eughh just saying their name makes me shudder. I've despised aliens ever since I played the Sims 2. I despise the abduction pregnancies. I despise the pollination technicians. I despise the mind wiping. And I most definitely did not like having to worry about my…
At first when I first met Kyle I had an idea to kill him using a murphy bed during his week stay, he didn't actually have any unfortunate accidents, but he got along well with my one Sim, as a result I've been using Kyle as a tool of war to help my evil Lesbian Sim get with any would-be taken candidates. She asks Kyle to…
Having installed A BUNCH of mods to fix townies at long last I unfortunately had a Sim do a GTW career, meaning I have to deal with aliens... Sadly that also means ontop of having aliens they dress like this, skirting all townie MC Dresser regulations. I already erased bad townie outfits, and I thought I erased aliens, now…
It's a neat feature, but I wish Sims didn't spend the entire time arguing with each other (and you) pretty much everyone staying over leaves with an all red relation to each other, and your own household.
You know classic boxes? Sometimes when there is randomly generated Sim people do something I don't like. Suddenly a 1x1 box appears around them for them to re-evaluate what they've wronged.
A little longer playing with the pack and WOW is it still excessive how aggressively new traits want to be applied. Have Sim workout: slips on treadmill once. "Are you clusmsy? Are you!?", Sim finishes workout and starts walking to shower, starts showing "You are a slob now, yes?" it then proceeds to pop up twice while…
You know whats nice about the tragic clown? The clown catchers, at least inviting over that bundle of joy means you just have one phonecall to dispose of the clown when it inevitably gets to you.
It's been bugged in my game for the several past months, you'll just have to manually cheat in the top-notch/happy toddler traits when you deem necessary on age-up.
Be evil, mean Sim. Talk to wife. Blowsthingsup McDestroy is thinking about changing his trait to friendly! Just like Wants and fears or livestyles it's too easy to do one thing and have the game popup about a proposed trait change. I was hoping it'd be more in vain of becoming a total Scrooge into your elderly if you horde…
Seasons, if on one of the many other things I could list. We've had 3 games worth of seasons, weather was supposed to be in the Sims 2 from the start but got cut despite being nearly complete. Paying just to see a bit of rain outside your house for four games in a row is absurd.
It'd be frankly impossible to play any Sims game unmodded without wanting to question myself, especially TS3. Life without smooth patch and Nraas' anticorruption mods would be nearly as broken as the Sims 2. Not to mention anything to give my Sims a little less same-face
TS1 Pro- Everything exists because of this game. Plus we had a great storymode on the console version. Oh and the humour was easily the best here. Cake dancers. Cake. Dancers. Con- It's old enough that everything except for Magic Town has been done three times by the newer games so it's not as good to play in long bursts…
It'll never affect me because I'll be playing the Sims 2 and 3 well into the new games life span until it seems like its aged well enough! I'd be bothered if I suddenly lost the ability to play TS2 and 3 upon 5's release then had to make the jump to the new game, but that won't happen. Hopefully.
A little, no where near as much as 10 years ago however. Not necessarily even the main focus or someone I play, just having boring old me mixed in with a bunch of crossovers, weird face morph nightmare Sims and witches is an experience. Exception includes the Sims 1's Get a Life mode on console. The story begins with your…
