Okay, I see what you're saying. I didn't realize all floors worked just like platforms. But placing a room - I still have to delete the walls so I'm still probably going to create the platforms outside. Thanks for the tips/tricks though.

@AncientMuse I'm not sure what the room tool has to do with anything but build the platform outside and move it inside to avoid the issue, worked perfectly. Thanks!

I'm going to clear the cache and "repair" the game but this pc is only a couple of weeks old so there's not much to clear. We'll see.

I don't use any cc or mods. When my Sims take pics also, they are all black.

I think it's worth it depending on your personality and style of play. If you're into making things green, helping the planet, recycling, having your Sims craft things from scratch, it'll probably appeal to you but if you're not into those things in real life eh... maybe not so much. Nothing can be a bigger waste of money…

If you shift and click on the Cowplant, then click Reset Object, it will come back. This didn't work for regular plants, I just waited a few Sim days and eventually they grew back. Nothing has disappeared completely for me except this random trash plant.

Never tried a mod. I used to use a lot of cc hair and clothes - especially jeans. It took EA like 5 years to put a decent pair of jeans in the game. My cowplant goes back to just a pile of dirt occasionally. If I shift click on it, it will reset and go back to normal so no big. I also have some plants that I grafted and they never actually grew - it's been more than a full Sims year. Gardening is really buggy since the last last patch.

I rarely use cheat codes other than like move objects or free real estate to move in families once my townies start dying of old age or I get sick of looking at them. Really? I love Windenburg. I hate that the island is still SOOOO laggy or I'd live there all the time. I'm in the minority. I like the EA builds in this world as well. They've been horrible in the last few packs but I like the ones in Windenburg and City Living.

I want to be excited but every other DLC (Except City Living, Get to Work and Laundry Day) has been a disappointment so my expectations aren't very high. We'll see.

I can't believe so many people are willing to buy a Sims 5. The ish show that has been Sims 4 - I would never buy another game from them. The only other thing I plan to get on Sims 4 is University. After that, EA and I are over!
