Here my Mom and I were thinking it was something like a Launcher Update that we missed somehow. In the Launcher menu... the main Sims 4 game is not appearing so that we can launch the game. Instead, it has 2 games to download: The Sims 4 and some EPIC game. It's good to know the problem is outside of our home scope.

I've gotten this LE several times since the June Patch for EL and use MCCC too. Always delete my localthumbcache before starting to play any of my saved games. It figures that this LE would be due to an EA glitch. FAIL as usual. :P

THIS is a great idea and one that I wish we had too in our Sims 4 game! And of course I don't want all the new objects/artwork, etc. to have a 10 Rating but ratings of 3 to 8 would be nice on a lot of the furniture, chairs and decorative objects so that we can keep the overall room environment high for our sims. :)

I'm more interested in a Sports/Entertainment GP or EP -- where we have more fun things to do TOGETHER as a family and w/groups of friends. Beginning to wonder if we'll ever have FUN activities like playing pool, Sim Gnubb, Volleyball, etc.

What's the point of having Seasons if you're going to turn off the effects? I also give all of my Sims the "Cold/Heat Acclimation" rewards so that they do not die from any harsh weather effects. I've always HATED EA trying to kill off my sims in a myriad of ways.

My vote is "No". I play the Sims to escape "real life" and do not care to have disabilities added to this video game. There are other elements that the Simming Community has been asking for since the inception of Sims 4. It would be nice to see some if not all of these long awaited elements come to fruition.

The best thing you can do for now is to use the Rewards: Cold Acclimation/Hot Acclimation until there is a mod or EA patch to prevent sims from dying from overheating or freezing.
