I'm still not updating my forum thread, but I've put out a few more chapters ❤️ Chapter 43.2: In which Julia totally isn't heartbroken. Chapter 43.3: Silence. Chapter 43.4: A stroll through San Myshuno. Chapter 43.5: Someone makes a surprise reappearance.
As I wrote in my story thread, I stopping updating in here because I'm probably not going to join the new forum, but in case some of you are still reading, Chapter 43.1: Midnight Blues is out ❤️
Thank you! That means a lot 🥹 Thank you @MonaSolstraale ❤️ It's really sad when a community disappears like this, I'm very glad I still have a way to connect with you on Wordpress when the forums are gone!
Hey people! With the news that the forums are closing, I'm going to stop updating this thread, and I probably won't be joining the new EA forums. If you want to keep up with Paul and Julia and any future stories, you can either follow me on Tumblr or on Wordpress, depending on which your prefer. Thank you for the good…
Do you actually play the game or do you prefer to use it as a vehicle to tell your stories? Or maybe you have different saves for playing and storytelling. I do play the game sometimes, but only if I have like, an entire day to sink into it. And I love writing, so I'll often prefer to work on my story instead. I have a…
I have a few chapters written as a diary while on a spaceship, and chapter 19 is written as a college admissions essay, but it's not a thing I use that often. It's an interesting concept though, I like the idea of it.
@simgirl1010 I get so excited when I get comments. I don't always respond to each one if there's not much to say, but I do read them all and respond if I can think of anything, I love them. It really makes me happy when people have something to say about my story
if you're playing a Simlit, if Sim A has a problem, does the cycle in a sense continue into the next generation? I like this question, it's exactly what I'm exploring in my story. A huge part of the characterisation of each generation is based on the one who came before. I have a lot of running themes of mental health…
Can you connect with all your characters and how do you find the energy to describe a character you have no sympathy for? Bit late here, but still wanted to reply to this. Since I'm autistic, it can generally be hard to get into the head of characters that are different from myself, so what I try to do is find at least one…
Much like @GlacierSnow, my simlit, despite the legacy name, has been 99 % scripted from around Gen 2. I take pictures in mostly chronological order to make it easier for myself to avoid continuity errors. (There is like two full chapters where Freya's cat tattoo has mysteriously vanished. We'll just pretend she was…
Thank you @Kellogg_J_Kellogg for reviving the thread, I've missed it! I'm a typical nerd, in that I tend to do research all the time, especially every single time I come across something I don't know. So I have quite a broad general knowledge, as well as a lot of life experience, being an Elder Millennial in my thirties,…
