  • Honestly, bugs are a delicacy in much of the world and a part of many local diets worldwide. To treat it as somehow wrong could be considered offensive to some. That aside, it is a renewable source of protein without the environmental harm that mass farming beef, pork and chicken has. It's something that has been floated…
  • The disks for The Sims and Simcity came with our first desktop computer when I was a kid. They were our family's very first computer games.
  • I'm excited for the lot trait to be reworked and relating items as well. Off The Grid simply wasn't able to be used in a way that made any sort of sense, let alone for playing an actual 'off the grid' story.
  • Honestly, I am about where you are with it. I love the mod. I love the idea of the mod and I keep it on my laptop but I play challenges and legacies on my PC most of the time and on there it got somewhat old. I'm following the mod anyway because I'd love to see what the creator does it with in the future. It's got a lot of…
  • I'm excited for the pack. It fits well with some of the challenges I enjoy playing and opens up a lot of story options for me. On the topic of paying for a unfinished game however- this is *not* a issue isolated to TS4 or even EA. It has become a issue more and more as the home internet connection and ability to download…
  • I play on PC, I like my mods too much to not. I play on a laptop (a $400 HP, nothing grand) that sounds like it's trying to take flight from the fan running sometimes but I mostly play on my husband's gaming desktop.
  • I use cheats for money a lot, normally taking money away not adding it lol Sometimes I'll cheat a skill if I'm just a hair away and need a promotion or cheat a need but I'm more into mods than cheats- I like to make my game harder, not easier.
  • We need more traits in general. For lots, we don't need more to boost skills in my opinion. With Tiny Living's rewards for small homes, skill building is just too easy. I'd like things that draw sims of a type to a lot. Maybe bar traits that would keep kids away or things in that spirit to help us control what short of…
  • For Q7- For a Etsy type store gameplay, I'd like to see it opened up to not just knitting. Woodworking and painting would also be good for selling online, for example. And since we wouldn't have the hassle of running a retail store in person to level up the store, I feel like the store would need to level up or be impacted…
  • For me, there are positives and negatives to both 4 and 3. Before, I did like 3 better but now there is much more content out for 4 and the game has established itself enough that I find I rather like it. Now, if it wasn't for the fact that half of my TS3 content was on hard disks and have gotten scratched in a few moves,…
  • I grew up in Alaska but currently live in the greater Las Vegas, Nevada area, though we'll be moving next year
  • I use it, I like how it modifies the emotions and makes it feel more sane to me than it did before.
  • > @MaggieMarley said: > (Quote) > @Sinthea haha thank you. I read about popcorn not spoiling and using it for toddlers on the forum a while back and when I started the 100 baby challenge I remembered about it. > > Popcorn does spoil after a while once it has been taken out of the popcorn popper but the popcorn in a popcorn…
  • > @MaggieMarley said: > (Quote) > @Sinthea I am doing this challenge and have had 66 babies so far without actually caring for a single toddler. I lock all the toddlers in a dungeon with popcorn and beds and leave them to fend for themselves. They will autonomously grab popcorn (which does not spoil) and eat it so that…
  • I keep meaning to try this challenge but also toddlers are so stressful for me to take care of in this game lol
  • I'd be happy with bug fixes. Like others, I'm trying to not get my hopes up too much. Free babies would be a dream but I doubt we'll see it. Probably a few small items will be slipped into the patch. Anything more than one or two freebies and I'll be over the moon.
  • I'm only missing Moschino. I grew up with Pokemon and so 'gotta catch 'em all' is deep in my bones. I'll get the missing pack when it's on sale since I'm not particularly interested in a fashion/designer pack.
  • When I was in elementary school we got our first home PC and it came with two games. The Sims was one of them and my mother and I became obsessed. Thus started a 20 year journey of playing off and on in wild swings when I've had a computer able to run it.
  • I have a few main mods I use, MCC and UI and such and a handful of CC stuff packs. Mostly I'll use CC and Mods to fix something missing from the game in my opinion. A under the counter mini fridge, a sink/toilet combo, washer/dryers snapping under counters, bunk beds and such. I've got smaller mods for preschool, changing…
  • I would love some fears but only if it's implemented with several options and levels of severity, perhaps in partner with a likes and dislikes system. I'm all for things that add depth to the game play but there has to be more neutral options for players who don't want it to affect their game in a major way.
  • I'd love to see more complex gameplay. I miss the grocery system. I miss having to work to raise relationships and skills. I have so many mods to increase the complexity. In my games my sim's income is lowered, the cost of university is increased, pregnancy odds are manipulated, there is a risk of accidental pregnancy. I…
  • Why have you stopped? I play off and on, through major swings. I'll go months and months without playing then IT IS MY LIFE for like four months. Wash, rinse and repeat. My laptop struggles to run the game without over heating (It's perched on a stand my husband made with a icepack under) and I have to share teh desktop…
  • I would have loved to have some sort of space saving options in the kitchen. It feels like kitchens were completely neglected. Overhead microwaves, under sink trash compactors and some new counters and stuff would have been nice. A micro two burner stove would have been awesome, perhaps limiting so the sim can't cook party…
