The NK pack was, if I recall correctly, mentioned to be coming in late August so I doubt it'll come in July. If we get a patch in July, it'll probably be bug fixes. Then again, they did mention some small changes to existing stuff over the summer so maybe we'll see some of that now? I'm guessing the inventory update and…
The ball pit complaints weren't because the idea of a ball pit was bad. They were because the graphics of it were abysmal (they've been fixed a bit since though still not all that well). And yes, looking back at the pack *now*, it doesn't have basic toddler items. But at release, it added gameplay for toddlers that wasn't…
Some larger bookstore chains (Waterstones in the UK being one of them) regularly leave bins or small skips out the back for pick up, filled with books destined for pulping or donations. They put them out before trash collection day so people can have a look and rummage and grab books they might find interesting.
I think build more features and mechanics shouldn't be locked into a pack. Anything that changes the core of the game and would make the pack a requirement for functionality? No, definitely not something that should be behind a paywall. But a pack containing only build/buy items like more varieties of staircases, ladders,…
I'm more a builder than anything else so yes, I keep wanting to change things around. Or I have a family that changes and ages and the house no longer suits them. Or they get into different jobs or skills that can't be done as well in their current home. Then there's the whole "I got a new pack and want to use the items…
misleading title much? it's got toddler stuff, just not the stuff you mentioned. but back then, that stuff came with the toddler BG update. fwiw, I use the toddler gyms in a lot of builds, the slide and the tree dollhouse especially. That said, it would've been nice to have had more *themed* beds, high chairs, toys in the…
Spa Day is also 50% off at the moment. This gives me hope that Vampires and Strangerville will be too. @bixters now might be the time to look at RoM ;)
*happy cries about the kitties playing with yarn* Seriously, the more I see about this pack, the more I can't wait to get it into my game. Thank you for all the insights @SimGuruConor, it's been amazing following along with the development. I'm really looking forward to the end result :D (also now I really want that yarn…
The GC role is unpaid, at least directly by EA/Maxis. Whether you consider getting the pack free as payment is up for debate. The earnings from being a GC come from the audience clicking on streams/videos/posts etc that are done with the pack in question. Usually, they also get access to the pack early by way of Sims Camp…
Same here. Unfortunately like with the SP sale earlier this year, they didn't go through all the GPs that way. GPs are 25% off, SPs are 20% off and EPs are the usual 50% off, if anyone's looking to save a bit. Not sure if the Infinite Sale end date applies but in case it does: June 18th. ETA: of course, Eco Living isn't…
You also want to make sure you don't have items with high flammability (that includes floors too) to prevent them from catching fire. And I think the fire pit/campfire constant fires were a bug. I only tried to light it maybe twice because hey, instant fire and no way to put it out.
There's a known issue after the new patch. It's save-specific so after trying to run your game without mods/CC and if it still crashes, try a different save if you have one, or create a new save file. more info: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/CURRENT-ISSUE-PC-MAC-XB1-PS4-June-3-Patch-crash/td-p/9167748 (it says…
I doubt it's related to hardware you're running the game on, since some of my saves are fine, others crash. It's definitely in-game. It's also not mod or CC related - I've never used either in my game. There's a link in the twitter thread for submitting saves so the dev team can look at them and see why they're crashing,…
We were told the theme for RoM last year at EAPlay, so I'm guessing we'll get the repeat of that this year and get the theme of the upcoming GP. Probably also an expected release timeframe that's more specific than "before the end of September". I think we might get some clips or more info about Nifty Knitting too along…
