  • I'm looking forward to the overall infant cuteness in the houses I will play them. In general I think I'm most excited for the new social bonding building various logical relations probably based on traits and perhaps skills. It will add to al my households, infant or not. Also like the extra focus on elders and hope they…
  • I guess the movie theatre will be a TS4 version of what we had in TS3. It was a pretty cool rabbithole community building where sims would walk in and disappear while watching a flm or getting kissed (and I think they could woohoo in there too?) We heard sounds from the movie they were watching, pretty much like we hear…
  • I must admit I love that colorful version of a piano, though - it gives me 80's vibes :) That would actually be a nice way to implement memories, as milestones should be fewer and bigger, and not slowing down my game as much as I think TS2 memories did. Not sure, but it sounded like milestones are mostly for younger sims?
  • Haha. I just found the official "Growing Together" blog, and misread: SAN SEQUOIA, THE BABYFRONT TOWN OF THE SIMS 4 :)
  • Although I don't see San Myshuno as an American world, I might just use thisnew worldd as a San Myshuno suburb. Not sure yet, although said to be a quiet subrb, I guess there wiill be some tall city builds in the background.
  • I'd like to have a stroller even if it could not leave the home lot, but was a way to put the infant to sleep outside in the shadow. Not during a Winter storm, though :) Maybe we will get cc "stroller cribs" eventually?
  • I'd love that! After all there is a hate-children trait. Would be weird if they reacted the same way as family oriented sims...
  • Yes, I ditto that re elders! I wish the default idle animations would differ more. Maybe there is some scripted calculation, but I wish that the better fit and active elders would not behave like almost-dead on the day after their birthday. Skills, traits and perhaps a few other things should play into this. Re teens…
  • But this sounds more like medical treatment than regular "I need glasses later in life". Makes me wonder if it is actuallly hinting that this coming EP will also have some medical treatment stuff? Elders, anyone? Maybe there will be more to it than the Dentist?
  • LOL, I follow! ;) Everytime there is a new pack title, I do "taste" on the short version. When the initials are the same as an older pack, I think - Bummer, why couldn't they come up with a unique name :) Cottage Living is a good example. We already had CL for City Living, so I try using CoL for Cottage Living. But, it…
  • I have to ask: is it normal that infants wear glasses? I don't think I ever saw that in RL, but on recent pictures from the future update/pack the infant wear them. A toddler perhaps, but I thought infant was too early to wear glasses on the promo pictures...
  • Can't see any surprises re alien infants? I had only one alien baby in my game "hundred years ago", they are green from the start right? Not sure if babies get alien eyes, but toddlers should, so I assume that goes for infants as well. Is there anything more to them than skin and eyes? Anyway, what ticks in at toddler…
  • I'd love to draw on my sims! Bit off topic perhaps, but especially beautyspots I rarely use becase there is tooo few different placements. Would also be cool to have beautyspots on body and not only on face.
  • I like that babies and infants are separate life stages. I'm not that much into playing babies anyway, so in most houses I'll try to skip the infant stage. I just hope that we cxan skip it without needing to serve another cake. It should be an option fromclicking the crib: "Age up to infant" or "Age up to toddler". Then I…
  • And that is an excuse for not adding belly scars? I'm not saying we can't have chest scars, I want both :)
  • In my game, I guess one of the bigger duifferencies between toddlers/infants will be that toddlers most often will need to grab a plate of food from the counter, while infants will probably not reach that high. Now I wonderf if I should rather serve that group meal dish on the floor for them to reach, or will they depend…
  • No idea, but I would guess that *if* the upcoming EP is about Family/Generations we might get some stuff (incl. strooller) for the infant (+ toddler) stage in that pack?
  • I think it's fine that the infant looks like a smaller toddler. What else should it look like? They might be nearly same size because they use the same high chair? Not sure though, but it would be nice not needing double sets of all toddler stuff. Anyway, they will no longer look same size when the toddler learns to…
  • It's not the cloth itself that matters, but what clothing category your sim wears. If you edit Cold weather outfit in CAS and ignore tags to use only Summer options, the game will still see it as a Winter outfit regardless of what it contains. So, it's totally possible wearing a bikini during a snow storm without freezing…
  • Why stop there? I think it would be cool playing a teen+kid household and then force them to adopt a dad and a mum :) Or - my family could adopt a granny? Could be cool even if you would not ute that feature every day. I would not mind if all ages were adoptable, ewach of us would just ignore the alternatives we would not…
  • I would like them to have a moodlet from wearing clothes of their favorite color and vice versa. Guess colors worn has no effect, though.
  • I've forgotten, do sims shower in the rain just because it rains, or is it due to the Erratic trait?
  • I don't own the werewolves pack, but I do have the wedding opack, and I love it for its beautiful world Tartosa. Weddings might be broken, I had no plans of focusing a lot on them anyway. But I like the many items that came with the pack, including items with new animations like toasting, slowdancing and the buffet table.…
  • Such a pity that most of my sims only got a tiny 4 tiles bathroom...
  • I wait for it to be posted on Youtube. I don't need to watch it live either, a recap will often work more smoothly on my old laptop anyway :)
  • I would love it if elders actually can loose a tooth, but I'd also like a way for them to avoid it (minimum brushin teeth during life) or of course they can fix it at the Dentist. I just don't want my queen and dukes to walk about lacking teeth, while my poor households probably can't afford visiting the Dentist. I want…
  • It probably means that the infant will work like a regular household member. They all know what lot they reside on, and the only way the infant can get home will be by crawling. But it makes me wonder if we can play the infant as the active sim or not. Would be more fun if they totally depends on other sims, and we can not…
  • This sounds totally wonderful!!! :) I love playing the game that way, notes and planning is a great part of it all. There is a saying between Writers. You shall always end your session for the day without completing the final sentence. Thst way you will long back and when you return it will be much easier to find the flow…
  • I'd go for Seasons. I have meny worlds so it's a great effect from the changing seasons in most of them, but also I think most of the weather changes came wity this pack. Most worlds have their typical seasons and weather pattern. Like heat waves, rain, storms and temperatures. There'sa a lot more to it than just a sunny…
