I thought you could still start at level 1 of a career after going to University. At least that's what I've read somewhere. I'm trying another Uni run now, so I'll find out soon enough.
Dialogue Trees and XP; there are some RPG mechanics after all. The conversations greatly deflated my hype balloon, it felt so jarring to see that. LbY looks great for modders to create their own settings, I expect there will be lots of detailed worlds and stories created. I'll see what it's like in 18 months or so, but as…
I think I will enjoy starting over. I stayed away from 4 at launch for the reasons many did, when I eventually picked it up I think it was during a sale and I bought some packs. When I returned to the game this time after forgetting any specifics of the gameplay the first time around I picked up more packs in bundles. I…
Eh, I didn't like the wasted time traveling from one end of the city to the other. I would be happy with open neighbourhoods, so you can walk from the gym to a cafe next door without a loading screen. If it is more open world I hope they can balance the length of a day and the travel time better.
Interested to see what is shown today. If it is a direct competitor to The Sims I'd like to see how they are able to make it look like their own game. That might not be possible if we only get a teaser announcement trailer. With this being Paradox, I'm going to guess it will have a historical or futuristic setting with…

This is probably going to reveal too much about myself; Terry Farrell, Jeri Ryan, Jolene Blalock. All downloaded from the gallery by TheSimEmporium.…
Dear little Sim, Stop putting your university coursework on the floor, you haven't finished it yet. > @manicobsessive said: > Why do Sims do things that they dislike autonomously? I don't get it! I just have visions of him giving it all the moves with a really angry expression lol. That's all I need to hear to turn off…
> @Simlington said: >One thing I've never done is come up with a backstory for a sim, and I hope I've come up with a decent one that will help me stick to this playthrough. Well, that didn't work. The real world day after Austin and Abigail have a baby I started a new game, back to playing a Sim with my name and traits…

I couldn't fight against Austin's boredom with his job any longer, so he's quit being an athlete and will try acting like his wife. With Abigail about to audition for her first recurring role I'll move them to Del Sol Valley. I had been ignoring fame, but I'll try that for both of them.
Austin and Abigail are now married. It was confusing switching between the two households to help Abigail work towards the soulmate ambition, with the needs being all over the place. Now they are living together I'll work on their careers and ambitions a while before they have a child.
My sim gets a girlfriend and then wakes up the next day wanting to break up with her. --- I spent a lot of time thinking about The Sims this morning, and how getting several expansions at once isn't great for me as I'm left wanting to do all the things that sound fun at once and never really getting anywhere as a result.…
I haven't played for a few years, even the newly installed EA App couldn't remember the last time I played, felt the urge to play again as nothing else is striking my fancy. I've played every main game and a few spin-offs over the years. I'm a serial restarter, but I'm hoping I've settled on this save where I started with…
