Hey, @lexus20, I'm not sure if you're still actively working on this, but today's patch should make it easier to achieve what you're trying to do. Check out the new implementation for Door, where you can change the portal offsets without resorting to script mods.
Without a rig change, you'll need a script mod to get this to work: In door.py, there are hard-coded offsets set to +/- 0.05, 0.3 meters that define the portal locations from the object's root. To avoid a script mod, you need to off-center the object model to account for those hard-coded values. Edit: One of our awesome…
It would not be a test in TunableTestVariant. You would need a script mod with a new Interaction class that implements its own version of the test() method.
The reason you don't always see the highest priority walkstyle is that the Sim accounts for distance, and might choose a slower walkstyle. You need to look at the tuning on the Sim to override those distances for specific styles (e.g. the Grim Reaper never accounts for distance, and always uses the floating walk).
Yes, all carryable objects specify a focus bone. The default is "_focus_", which is probably why it's not in the XML for the base game tablet. But there should be XML that enables the component.
You can only trigger these UI responses from notifications. You can show a notification as part of an interaction by using the "notification" tunable under "basic_extras."
Setting "allow_autonomous" to False is all that should be necessary in order for this to work as you intend. Are you sure your mod is being picked up by the game?
Hi all! I have asked for some restrictions (inability for new members to post, inability to use formatting) to be lifted for this specific forum, but it doesn't seem like Vanilla actually supports this. Sorry. Can I get a quick recap of all the pending questions? Is the Ghost issue resolved? Is there a question about rel…
If kids are getting flirty, that's definitely a bug. Letting @SimGuruNick know. I'll pass the feedback. There's no explicit toddler ordering right now. As a matter of fact, I believe toddlers are automatically sent to Daycare if you travel with them to a restaurant.
