Most of that content was "eh" worthy though in my opinion, at least it is these days. Vampires and witches aren't as fun to play as in Sims 3 compared to Sims 4, because they feel more fleshed out now that they have packs solely dedicated to them, instead of cramming everything into a single pack and everything within not…
One thing I think I should mention: the earbuds from Fitness Stuff are great. You could take a Sim to the park, have them put on the earbuds, and let them dance to the song like they would to a radio. Imagine if you saw someone at the park break dancing to what is practically silence from your perspective?
@SimAlexandria Oh yes, the Gallery! There are times where I just can't get a house to look good or was feeling lazy so I look on the Gallery for a good house. I am total plum at building in the Sims.
Weak traits were a thing in The Sims 3 as well. Heck, I don't even think the 25 point system in Sims 1 and 2 did anything too drastic, either. I find traits in both 3 and 4 to be more creative and more interesting for me, as I tend to make up most of the Sims' personalities in my head anyways. EDIT: However, I won't…
I just don't like how they get up to hug each other when I make them talk during dinner, especially when it's a family with kids and all. I swear, this problem only started happening to me recently and I wish it would STOP.
I think my problem with Create a Style is that whenever I try it out, all the colors always tend to stand out from everything else. And yeah, the hair isn't that bad, just not that varied/can't find a hairstyle that fits well with a Sim I have in mind. Getting some SimPoints on Friday, at least.
I apologize for acting rude. I've just not had good experiences with Sims 2 Sims a lot, and it did kinda cloud my judgement. There used to be a time where Sims 2 was my favorite Sims game, believe it or not!
I once had a Sim go on an extremely terrible date, and the date left a flaming bag of poo at the doorstep. Memories are best in Sims 2, though they're easily lived without for me.
I honestly still feel like traits in Sims 4 still does change a Sim's personality, at least to me. A lot of personality is how you play those Sims, in my eyes. But yeah, a combination of the two would be pretty cool. Best of both worlds and all.
It REALLY depends on what I see on today's stream. Because the no snow depth, and no hail (things the PREVIOUS versions had) makes this seem inferior to those past versions, in my eyes. Who knows, I may change my vote after the stream today! EDIT: Hail, not hair, 🐸🐸🐸🐸 brain
I heard about that harvest system, but I don't do much gardening in Sims in general, so I didn't look too much into it. I know we're getting glass roofs for free, I saw it confirmed on Twitter somewhere. Glass houses might not be a good idea, though XD
There's an object in Backyard Stuff called the "Plumbot Box." It was essentially a wall-mounted radio, with the description claiming it was possibly the head of an advanced cyborg.
Like, the first house that we built, or just the first house we played in general? Because for playing, I just bought that prebuilt house with two bedrooms, the "Shotgun Starter" it was called. For the first house I built... it was literally just a shoebox, haha... wasn't that great at building houses as a kid :p
I personally still don't see why everyone makes the statement of The Sims 2's Sim AI being the best in the series, because it's arguably one of the worst. Sims 3's isn't TOO much better (tapping feet while next to a doorway will prove that much) but in my opinion, it's an improvement on The Sims 2's. Also, I may be in the…
@Rflong7 The Sims are dumb, but the kind of dumb in Sims 2 is a tad more frustrating than funny. The kitchen counters are literally closer to the Sims themselves, yet they still go straight to the bathroom counters. I just cannot fathom how that is possible. I'm not incompetent at building houses, I've been playing Sims…
I am... actually not too sure about that one, haha. I like using both, houses for the traditional Americana suburban household feel, and apartments for the feel of living in the city.
Oh, let me rephrase that: Some of us *like online. SimCity definitely was a flop. And honestly, Olympus had no hope once or ever. And I never said I wanted all Sims to be FULLY online, just that I like the features that the series included. Trust me, always online = absolutely horrible.
Allowing the game to launch without pools. Really, EA? @JoAnne65 Some of us actually like online, you know. I play that fan remake of Sims Online, and I love sharing Sims and houses I made through the Gallery. I tried doing a story, but constant picture taking wasn't for me.
I agree. While Sims 3 bodily animations are... good, at the very least, those faces look off to me. At least in Sims 2, they were overanimated enough to be funny/meaningful.
