Jupp. I'm on the werewolf-patch before the phone-madness. No way no how am I going to introduce that into my game without an option to turn it off. It would be so much easier to update the game if there was a way to toggle the phone off.

Today I have been hunting bugs. Not the fun version in Granite Falls, there is something lurking in my Mods-folder. Splitting things in halves and trying to find it. Part of the mod-experience.

I have added a few mods that made kids feel better to me at least. The don't do homework or take away laundry unless you tell them to. They feel less like mini-adults when they don't do all the cleaning without parental input.

Yeah... I did not update my game for the High School expansion and I will not update it for kits either. A really good occult Game Pack would do the trick, or an exceptional Stuff Pack. We will see what happens, I am happy with the game I got at least.

Hmm...loner might make things difficult with the social aspirations. Having your sim being tense all the time because you have to be out in public to work on an aspiration might be irritating. Or it could be an interesting complication to work around, something to overcome. Depends on how you want to play it :)

I do not remember I have answered earlier. Now that I have updated my game to the werewolf-patch and have seen the new Goth-family I must say that I much prefer the new version and I am glad that they were updated. Earlier I only had pictures of the newer versions.

Oasis Springs - there is almost no shell buildings so I have saves in which I make it into a Star Wars world. Other times I make it into medieval times.

I am plaing CAS-Batuu at the moment. I get to my computer so late in the evening that I only have time for a little bit of CAS so right now I am creating townies for my new Star Wars-save. This will be my main sim, genius and slob, not sure about the third trait. Looking forward to having actual gameplay sometime soon.

First the phone was a way to keep work, traveling and things organized, which is why it is mandatory. Now more and more things are added to it and since they are mandatory there is no way to opt out. Now they are adding idle animations, which are impossible to opt out off and with occult sims it is very noticeable. Or…

@PrincessrozeeS Hmm…. stop what? I can see that you are very passionate but I do not understand what it is that you wish to stop? Personally I want to throw the sim’s phone under a bus but, so less mandatory tech idle-animations. That it would be easier to play historical saves. What is it that you do not like?

The thing that infuriates me is that there is no way to opt out of idle animations with tech. They decide how your sims is supposed to come to life. Contrast this with "exchange phone numbers" when your sim chooses to take up the phone and do something.

Hmm… if you feel that they die constantly, maybe remove “accidental deaths” from a few more households. See how that works out.

Yeah. I micro-manage the households that do have neighborhood stories turned on as well. Accidental deaths are just turned on for some specific households, “move in” is ok but I seldom use “move out”.

Yes! I agree, all sims become super-sims unless you use mods. Triplis has a mod that let’s lock a skill when you feel that your sim has gained enough knowledge. That way you can have a sim making dinner every day, humdrum lvl 3 all the time. Or a sim who lives karaoke and sings badly every Friday night. I highly recommend…
