I wouldn't mind them releasing a lot of content if I thought they were addressing issues and flaws with the gameplay. I feel like Maxis is just trying to make things look hip/exciting/trendy and not really thinking what we (not everyone "we" just people who like the same stuff as me "we") want from the gameplay. I'm…
Buying or recommending a game that isn't satisfying doesn't make sense either. EA is using bad logic to make decisions about The Sims franchise. If they think the reason I, and many others, have stopped purchasing content is because The Sims is not worth investing is that's no longer my problem. I've tried telling them…
If it looked like it would be something I enjoy then absolutely. In a heartbeat. It would only have to be marginally better than TS4. I'm sick of tunnel vision Maxis has. It's too busy rushing headlong towards it's vision is doesn't realise it's derailed.
He is saying that prior to this point he has felt obligated to purchase these things. He advocates spending money wisely on only the things we want and gives his honest opinion about content relative to price. Unfortunately to do this he has had to go against his own instinct and advice, and purchase things he has no…
Has it occurred to you that maybe TS2 was a game so satisfying that maybe it didn't need "game changing" expansion packs for those expansions to be worthwhile? I loved TS2 freetime. It integrated into my game wonderfully. It expanded my gameplay. It game me new things to enjoy and do at each life stage. It helped me feel…
Yes to all the all the above. Except my name is Sharon not Stephen but yes you summed up what's missing very eloquently. There was nothing egotistical, ungrateful or jerklike about anything you said or how you presented yourself. Also yes... you are very attractive (not just aesthetically, you seem like a very intelligent,…
I love coffee. I love the idea of my sims having a barista bar. Not AU$50 worth of love though. That would buy me a lot of coffee beans and I know I'll enjoy using them.
Wow Maxis! I mean that was truely amazing! I was expecting something mediocre but you still managed to dissapoint me. Way to keep me on my toes. I love the way you made me feel embarrassed that I even care about the sims.
Somebody must've thought that dance thing, the selfie and showing that horrible "you rule" trailer at the was a "good" idea. Somebody or some people must think more parties and wealthy single lifestyle is what we want. Whoever these people are...fire them.
There was nothing in that presentation to suggest it could improve everyday living... and there was plenty to suggest otherwise. It looks like a thrown together mess.
The world was nice, not going to lie, and a fooseball table would be good. I won't be likely to ever get it (and enjoy it) because if the party was the focus... it just doesn't look like what I want. I like that there is swimming in the fountain but that'll probably be patched in. Not enough reason to buy this. :/
Well that was a load of... ahem. The things I would like to say are not family friendly. I freakinhate that trailer they decided to reshow before the presentation too...
...that would be the point of getting prams. To be able to take them outside... maybe have the babybassinet objects replaced by babypram objects. I don't know how to make babies portable, I just know they should be and I want them to be.
Huh? Really?! I just assumed that of course they'd go under counters... EA somehow manages to mess something up that should make me happy. (Note to self: never assume, it makes an 🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸 out of u and me)
I wonder if they leaked this on purpose just so people would be less shocked and dismayed at the conference. Softening the blow might mean less vocal outrage/booing. Maybe?
...especially since I doubt we will be getting toys...or toddlers...or prams in this expansion. I suppose just hang onto our teddy bears and wait is all we can do. I would really like a pram for the babies though - not likely to happen.
I just saw this at simsvip. I thought I'd come here and check if the forums had exploded. I suspected a freetime (which is what I think this is) expansion. I think it will make a lot of people really happy. I just hope it works well for families and inspires stories without being too repetitive/linear/forced. Personally I…
Why not both? I think being able to follow the kids to school on occasion would be great if that stage was also fleshed out. You could play pranks on the kids in your class, play tag during the lunch break, either listen in class or doodle (work on creative skill), etc. I'd love it if we could actually send our kids to…
1) Generations (multi-generational family play separate expansion) 2) Pets 3) Apartment life 4) D. The Sims 4: Family Pets 5) A. The Sims 4: Farm Life (EP) 6) E. The Sims 4: Cars (GP) 7 etc) Pretty much every other idea ever suggested 8734563456329645) C. The Sims 4: Kim Kardashian Sexy Selfie Stuff 8734563456329646) B.…
@SelahFreeAtLast I think so too. I'm curious about gamescom. Many people suspect the next expansion will be a nightlife type one. That could mean apartments. Although many people suspect pets or generations too so it's really just a guessing game.
I agree so much! I'm pretty sure I've been asking for vegetarians from day one too, and eco-friendly. I would also really like to see composting, recycling and solar/wind power be introduced.
