Does anyone know if the face bug affects sims on saved on the gallery and savefiles we haven't opened yet? I installed the patch, but now I'm thinking maybe I'll be ok if I just don't touch my gameplay save files and simply build stuff. I just don't know if it's worth staying away from my games or if the harm is done…
Oh, that's an interesting picture! And a very complex roofing to replicate. So, I'm not entirely sure, but to replicate that dome, since it's on an upper floor, I'd recommend making a slightly smaller octagon room instead of square (only the dome is higher than the rest, you can see the walls peaking out, and it's a little…
Oof! I finished just in time. Here's my entry (are people not sharing theirs on this forum? I'm confused) I made my park in Selvadorada. It does lack a fence, but I wanted to make it blend in with the surroundings and be accessible for strays, considering the lot traits used. I imagine the locals and tourists of…
Then I just added this park to the gallery. It's built in Selvadorada, right next to the jungle entrance, and is meant to welcome families with children and dogs. I built it for the GLovelysQCC79 challenge, which was to build a park with a pool that would be welcoming to dogs. It does lack a fence, but I wanted to make it…
Oops! I forgot to keep this thread up to date. Here is a build from last month, my contribution to the BuildandShare challenge here on the forum. The Windenburg Townhouse. Imgur link for more pictures
I don't have the link right now but I think you might find your answer on YouTube on sahmandbean's channel. She has a lot of very helpful short roofing tutorials for different cases like this.
@tatselk Thank you! Your beach is very nice as well. I love the bright colors, the pergola on the deck and the idea of putting a swingset in the water. Good thing your picture includes a sim using it, because I was really wondering if they'd even be able to use it there. Glad it does work!
Thanks @rosemow for taking the time to look at the build and to comment! I started with the exterior design and got overly ambitious considering the budget we were given (had to remove a whole floor and change the columns), but I'm glad it still looks good.
I just finished a build for the Build and Share challenge and figured I should also share it here, so here's my townhouse for Lykke Center in Windenburg. Tried to make it look modern and like the immobile parts of the build had been chosen by the promoter rather than being completely different from one another. Windenburg…
@chips46 Your water park is so cute! I'm assuming those rocks are debug from Island Living? It looks great! I love the different areas in the park and it seems like all kinds of sims could enjoy the place.
@coolsim9999999 Thank you for the information! I've updated my post. I wasn't sure how I was supposed to find that information, as I usually bulldoze and build right away from the loaded lot. And I'm glad you like it!
BUILD entry CHALLENGE #171 -Four Square FORUM ID: SerraNolwen ORIGIN ID: SerraNolwen LEVEL: Established? I'm not entirely sure, but I think that's what I entered as previously. SIMS 4 LOT NAME: Bathe de Rill (originally the community pool in Lykke Center) NEW LOT LINK: Windenburg Townhouses on the gallery LOT COST: 3000…
@EnkiSchmidt I agree with you. I was thinking more along the lines of how to apply to university in Sims 4, but I like the parallel with acting gigs as well. :) For anyone else reading, I just want to make clear what I had in mind (don't know about the others) is indeed that skills and traits could lower or increase odds…
That would make getting a job more interesting! It could be based in part on traits and skills depending on each career, plus tasks to make it easier. And high charisma could be helpful for every interview, plus a certain level in Mischief to lie at your interview, maybe?
So... I'm pretty sure I went overboard when making my townhouses and now I'm worried I have a lot of space to fill. I still have to play around with the layout inside, but I just want to check something beforehand. When you say 3 bedrooms, I'm trying to figure out how flexible this could be. Do you mean at least 3…
This is my most recent apartment renovation for my project to rebuild San Myshuno, the one at 920 Medina studios. It's uploaded as two rooms, though, because I used a platform in the art studio. Edit : Here are the gallery links : Main apartment build Platform
And yet another apartment renovation is done! There's only one left to do in the Arts Quarter, but I'll likely take a little break from building to play around with the new patch. This one is the 920 Medina Studios, for which I largely kept the old layout, just adding one platform in one of the rooms. Because of that, on…
@manicobsessive I do have Laundry Day installed, but I only played a little bit since the patch and it was on a lot with neither laundry equipment nor infants, so it might be a combination of those two causing the problem?
@jmbhkc121284 From what I've read, that moodlet staying is a feature, not a bug. When their energy need is low, they need sleep, but sometimes they'll need a nap just for... mental rest? It's like they're getting overstimulated, so they get that moodlet that means they need a cuddle and a nap (not in the bassinet).
@rosemow Thank you for taking the time to look at my build and to comment! I'm glad you like the living room / office space. It's one of the spots where I'm happier with how I used all the space, despite needing to leave the utilities accessible.
@manicobsessive Everything seemed to work just fine for me yesterday. I didn't play very long since I was just testing a build, but it worked very well.
Here's a quick little apartment "renovation" for the Needs TLC apartment at 910 Medina Studios. I figured only the things the sim would have brought in could be higher quality. It's on the gallery here and you can see more pictures in my usual thread on this forum there.
I completed a quick little build this week, "renovating" the apartment at 910 Medina Studios. Since it's locked with the Needs TLC lot trait, I decided to keep it somewhat grungy, but with some nice furniture and decor. I imagine the sim who lives there, a hopeful comedian who just moved into SanMyshuno, struggled to find…
