@SophiesSims97 You first need to create the plan, probably on a computer or drafting tablet. That creates an item in your inventory that you need to submit.

Q1: I don't like the idea of getting fame from knitting. That just seems too extra. Fame is easy enough to get already. For University, a skills class would work, but a whole semester of knitting class seems weird toward a degree. I love the idea of the retail aspect, but what about the volunteering aspect? Knit hats,…

Hello @rosemow I hope you like my study designed for an Italian exchange student. I imagine she's studying art history in university and is surrounded by artistic objects and reminders of home. That is an interesting mod, but I avoid CC in my games. It looks really good though and is along the lines of part of what I'm hoping for in an upcoming game pack.
I detail as I go along. Some people can do all the sculpting first, but I've never had that work out well for me, so I do it in tiny pieces. Though I understand that blank worlds are your preference, I am not making a blank world. Thank you so much for your kind words! Yes I had island transitions in that world. I'd…
Weird! I checked the settings and it said something about GooglePlus, so I've disabled that. You should (fingers crossed) be able to comment now. Thank you for letting me know!!
My work week is over and I get to work on my world again! I'm working on the military base this week. I'll post most of my progress over at the blog, but here's a glimpse: For the most recent posts and information, check out my blog at https://mysims3worlds.blogspot.com/ Once again, I'm doing the initial landscaping,…
Thanks! Yes, in a sense it will. I've planned an island for the farming community, a larger island for the more "town" area, and another for a military base with housing, ports, and things like that. It is a large map size, so I have space to change my mind and add more as I go if I decide to go that route. Most of the map…
If you don't have a mouse apart from the touchpad on a laptop, you can use the < and > keys to rotate in CAW. For ease of use, I'd still recommend getting a mouse, even a basic wireless.
First, I decided to start a small farming island. It's not completely finished, but the bulk of the farming community is set up. The majority of the lots for this island are placed and landscaping around them is complete. The next area I'm planning to work on will be a military base. Here's a few WIP screenshots from…
It's fine everywhere else (mostly). It's just that one area, so no on the grass layer, etc... It looks perfectly normal in CaW, exactly like the rest of the landmass, but sadly I can't run it through weather/seasons within CaW. I haven't had anyone else report the issue, so it could just be a glitch for me. I have a couple…
I have seen the thing with the bushes and such, but they actually end up at the center of the map if you don't clear your cursor (hit esc when you finish placing objects). This is at the top corner. I haven't been able to see it in CaW though. :( ETA: I did find it in CaW (Finally) and it's part of the global layer, so it…
I haven't started a thread yet, I will when I have the lite version finished, then just post progress on the builds until completion.... But I can share a few pictures. First off, here is some excellent music to build to if you're feeling a bit ye olde... Inspiration pictures eh? I have a few scenic things I can share ;)…
I see what you're doing, telling me I can enter and gift my winnings... playing to my gifting addiction. I'm on to you and your shenanigans... Okay, I'll drop down a empty lot and see what happens... <3
What an awesome contest! I'm not going to commit to an entry because I already own the store, but do you mind if I share some inspiration pictures? I have a medieval world in progress :)
Also, for some reason in Winter, there's parts of the fields that turn black... Has anyone run into this before? Thank you in advance for any assistance.
Okay, so even swapping out the lots, you still have to use the EiG interface with mods to populate? That stinks. :( I haven't quite figured out that particular tutorial, so I hoped that it would be a workaround... Thank you for getting back to me!!
First, you're amazing. Second, you're amazing. Quick questions for you... With adding in the Sims, obviously you can't do complex connections such as grandma in another house, but do they have to be fresh out of CaS? Or can you give them a few inventory items (like canes and backpacks) that will impact the player's view of…
