I'd love an attraction system - when I first played Sims 3 I thought my Sim could get it on with Jon Lessen but when I went a party at his house there were no little hearts when we were introduced... so sad, he went off with that awful Gwen Glover (huge hearts when he met her). As you can see, on my poor little heartbroken…
@king_of_simcity7 There are some terraced houses up here but in cities there are more tenements and colonies for working class housing. I live in a remote village (and another conservation area) and we have a row of terraced houses along the Main Street built around the same time as my house I'd think. I live in what was…
I grew up in the north of England and we had back yards and back gardens. My Nan lived in a terraced house (think Coronation Street), she had a back yard - it was paved. We lived in a semi and that had a back garden (lawn). I now live in Scotland in a Georgian house (built 1780), the little stone building for the outhouse…
I live in Scotland and am a bit :o at keeping the washing machine in the bathroom. I have a combined washer/dryer (front loading Bosch) and it lives in the back kitchen (or utility room). We've had it for 6 years and it's not broken down yet. I don't use the dryer much - we have a washing line in the garden and what I call…
@Opicana you're welcome, I hope you enjoy using the bits and pieces in your builds even if you don't place the lot - I rarely do. I've got my fingers crossed that Sim's tests come back ok.
@JovialJoy - you're very welcome & I hope you manage to get Beach Bummin - I love all the beach-y stuff, although in my game just my sims live in a high rise apartment and it is snowing hard outside. The store is being so plum just now - I hope you're all managing to log in and get some points. At the moment I seem to get…
The last time I left my Sims home alone they set fire to the house. Lesson learned... if I'm not watching the wretches they get to do nothing... not even sleep.
Houses and decorating. My partner quite often asks me if I ever actually play the game since every time he walks past my monitors I'm busy with patterns and textures and all that lovely stuff rather than worrying about my ugly toddlers and whether they're learning all their life skills fast enough.
Eugh, it's infuriating isn't it? I've had a child drown because she didn't get out of the pool when she was tired and hungry. I tend to leave sims to their own devices once they've done all their "chores" and this urge to swim or dance with the sunflowers in the greenhouse or drink all the honey they've gathered instead of…
I'm on 1.69, Windows 10 and my PC is about 6 months old. I sometimes play online, sometimes offline - I've not noticed any difference in performance either way. I start the game via a launcher icon on the desktop with Origin running in the tray.
I don't mind throwing my sims' younger children to NRAAS SP - I like to see what they get up to. At least they're free to live their lives without me busybodying about telling them what they will do with their lives. They get freewill whereas the futures of the heirs are determined all the way. Having said that, I don't…
It's happened to me a couple of times. A restart of the launcher has always fixed it first go for me... although I then have to go through and enable all the packs because the ticks have disappeared.
@Tamaek - I think the best way to get the cinema is through the March 2013 compilation - the "method" is on the first page of this thread (just search the page for plumb).
@Tamaek - you're very welcome  HS is one of my favourite worlds - it's just like my bit of Scotland, all coast and hills with a bit of land in between to squash a village on.
@Opicana - I had a great run on ads last night, I could rotate through 10 tabs for what seemed like ages. I love it when that happens because then I can gift something big. I've never played Lunar Lakes - not even been there for a peek.
Wow! That was difficult, well it was easy enough to get rid of the cc. But, dearie me, the poor darling is dressed in base game rags... I hope that if you download her, you'll dress her in something nice. Bonnie Scott is my avatar and she's my simself but she isn't much like me any more as I had to change all her traits…
@Opicana - glad to help you get the Animals Abound cascade - Vincent's youngsters will have some fun with all that stuff. Hope that you're feeling better soon.
I have an i7-6700, 24GB ram & a nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti. I don't have any problems running all expansions, a pile of cc and a browser, watching videos etc. on a second monitor. I do have the NRAAS mods too.
