• Hard choice between city living, seasons and get together for me. Ultimately I had to choose Get Together because the world is just magnificent (it actually has a decent amount of lots, with much less set dressing for neighbourhoods than other packs :0) and there's just...plenty to do in the world (unlike other packs..)…
• Yep....Watching bubbles rise up from the water and occasionally coming back with a collectable is not gameplay. Even if we could see what they're doing in there, that would be a big step up. You see the beautiful ocean floor in some parts of the island from above the water, why can't we go there ??
• I just want sims in sims 4 to have actual consequences to their actions! What’s the point of an evil mermaid If they can’t be evil :(
• I’m not sure what country you’re in, but in aus all sims expansions are currently 50% off in Jb hi fi. Otherwise I’d say your best bet is to just go into shops physically. It isn’t going to be on sale anytime soon on origin since it just released
•
packs are designed to enhance and expand the way you play the base game. Giving you new experiences while ultimately making the base game more rich.
This doesn’t expand on base game experiences though ??? You cannot swim in any other world, whereas TS3, you could. The conservationist…
• Seasons and parenthood. They’re the best packs that add onto existing gameplay. Most of the other packs have their own seperate ‘theme’ where you have to go out of your way to do (camping, jungle, restaurants). Most packs don’t impact regular day to day life, whereas those two packs do
• Although I love windenburg and BB, San Myshuno has to be the top. It’s so different to other worlds, especially the high rise neighbourhoods that are connected by platforms
• Ordering drinks at the bar and then throwing them away before they’ve even taken a sip Sims stopping what they’re doing, running across to the other side of the lot to fan over a celebrity. You can’t even cancel this action! When sims do that chair swapping thing during every conversion. I could write an essay about this,…
• Enter me, please :)
• Do you play rotationally? Because I noticed in my game that sims fame gradually drops even if you're playing a different household. If it happened instantaneously I would report it as a bug :/
• Has anyone noticed that literally everyone in the acting set (or any active career for that reason..) is filled with these townies? I wouldn't mind but literally every single person is either middle eastern or Asian. Also I found that they are bugged too, in regards to clothing/hair. 95% of the Asian townies are blonde?…
• -A overhaul of the whims system and rewards, right now, its a thing you ignore, I would love it to be like sims 2 system where you had fears and wants -more detailed/meaningful animations; its sort of unrealistic when you do an action, and an object just appears out of thin air (like mopping, cooking, elevator...) IE; like…
• Mostly...I just wish there were smaller socks to put on, it looks weird to have no socks but when you put them on, it looks really dorky when you have boat shoes with socks that go up half the leg :/
• If you have seasons, it will pop up in the calendar. However, award ceremonies always appear 7-11pm on sundays, every week. As others have said above, you don't necessarily have to be nominated for an award to receive one. I think it happens if a nominated celebrity gets an award, but isn't present, so the announcer just…
• I wouldn't mind, however, most of my time is spent playing normal sims. The vampire pack, whilst amazing, is very niche and doesn't get used very often. I found that the vampire pack was like a game within a game. I would much rather resources be used in more realistic gameplay.
• Different types of actions gain more amount of fame than others. I found that posting to simstagram story, updating social media gain very little fame relative to other actions. Most fame that my sims gained came mostly late in their careers, and are done by actions related to the related skill level. Its a very slow start…
• I prefer to use a minimal amount if I have to. I find clutter just...a waste of storage space. I love to add more personality to homes, but I'd much prefer to use functional objects to create that effect..
