@Rouensims There are some similarities but I don't think this is being caused by the same thing because when I played on my Windows, everything was fine, the problem has something to do with me playing on a Mac. Plus, this happens even when all of my settings are as high as they can be and I can see the shiny stuff in CAS.…
Just because a trait is dominant doesn't mean everyone will inherit that trait, some people will get recessive features. I'm pretty sure brown hair is dominant. Plus, eye colors can be recessive or dominant. Blue eyes are recessive while brown eyes are dominant but not everyone has brown eyes, I've seen quite a few people…
The only reason I want a sims 5 is because a new sims game could be made on a different engine. If it's made on a different engine, it would more than likely be easier to implement things that a lot of simmers want, like an open world. With that being said, there isn't a guarantee that another sims game will be better than…
When I voted, I thought the scarecrow was an object and not a sim. Since the scarecrow is a sim, yes, it is cheating, but if it was just a lifeless object, no.
Not saying you're wrong, but is that many people complaining normal for any game? Since TS4 isn't perfect, customers will complain, but I don't think so much of the community would be unhappy with the state of the game for no good reason. All the simmers, with the exception of a few, I see complaining are complaining for…
Not saying I don't agree with you, but couldn't this work both ways? The people who don't talk about TS4 online could also think negatively about the game. At the end of the day, money speaks more than any of us online can.
It's hard to tell if the game is actually dying or if people are just unhappy with the game, which are two different things. I think people are just saying that because TS4 has been going on for so long. To be fair, after a game, any game, goes on for a few years, people start saying the game is dying.
I agree with these being a false representation of the game since you can't do a lot of this stuff, but I don't understand why they couldn't just use actual gameplay footage instead of animating something new for the advertisement. Was the game too boring to be advertised in its actual state or something?
I think there are more darker skin tones because the darker skin tones were originally patchy and ashy. I never noticed the paler skin tones being an issue until you mentioned it. Now that I think about it, you're right, more good pale skin tones are needed, not just the tones that look sick/ashy.
Replying to your first question, not just the religious aspects, but, yes to the political things, too. I, personally, don't think either should be in the game. I didn't mention the Rising Sun because the shrine got more attention in the videos and articles I watched/read on the topic. I didn't mention any other religions…
I understand what you're saying, but I don't think simmers are at fault. If a player of any game doesn't like something about the game, they can speak about it. Sure, a few people are upset over small things or are way too aggressive about hating something about The Sims, but a majority of players have a valid reason to…
If I remember correctly, South Korean simmers were offended because of the history behind it while Japanese simmers' were proud of the representation of their culture. This situation gets sticky when one group of people are offended while the other is a part of the culture. Not implementing religion at all could of avoided…
Is the shrine religious? If so, I don't think it should have ever been in the game. Religion being in the game could lead to more bad than good. If it it isn't religious, bowing should stay in the game but be optional.
Usually I spend two hours in CAS alone, but for this challenge I made it quick. (I'm putting this behind a spoiler because the list is a bit long) In conclusion, I like the CAS and build/buy mode, but the live mode still needs a bit of work. I got The Sims 4 when it was free, so, for a free game, It's pretty good but, I…
I want sims to be smart enough to care for themselves and interact with other sims in a way that makes sense. By that last part, I mean I don't want sims to have a friendly chat after they just had a fight with that sim. I also would like for sims to have an emotion system that makes sense (with the current emotion system,…
I recently played the 64-bit version of the sims 3 and noticed that the eyelashes were blocky. I don't have any CC. Is this normal? How do I fix it? Picture of the eyelashes:
I love adding clutter to my houses because it makes them look much more alive and less boring. Whenever I add clutter to my houses, I never have a problem with having to balance functionality and clutter, everything in my houses look pretty and work perfectly. I don't feel like there is too much clutter and if you ever…
In my opinion, the packs seems to have been getting better lately (except the star wars pack...), but as for the base game, it's mainly the same if not for a few more bugs. The Sims team should direct their attention towards the base game more. The reason I think the sims team has upped their game a bit is because of the…
I've had my children taken away a lot and they always give a notification, even when I use testingcheats to take away my baby. Also, I'm pretty sure they're only supposed to take away the one baby who's needs were neglected.
I didn't say everyone who doesn't want babies plays that way, I said a lot do. As for the babies behaving slightly differently, all of my babies behave the same, but I haven't played with babies in months so maybe they changed it in an update?
The sims community consists of more than just yourself. It would be a bad business move on Eaxis's part if they cater toward a minority of the community. If a lot of people actually do not want the pack, then it would make since that it isn't made, but if a majority of the community wants it, then it would be a good idea…
Maybe there were so many comments because people actually found a problem with the game? Neither Sims 2 or 3 are without their flaws, there are things that may annoy simmers like the lagginess in Sims 3 or the time glitch when changing lots.
@Leaselmary While that is true, simmers are very vocal about what they want changed on platforms like Reddit, Twitter, here, and the comment section of the Journey To Batuu trailer. It is not normal for so many players to be upset with how the game is. It's hard to tell what the majority is, but the best way I know of is…
