It was between Uni or Night Life. I love the young adults and the university hoods, but you can't really incorporate it into a lot of the game. My sims use Downtown constantly, and I love the dating system.
@igazor It was the Nivida drivers being outdated causing the problem! I always thought that they automatically updated with the rest of my laptop stuff. Thanks for helping me figure out the (extremely simple) solution out. I had no clue about those weird 2006 drivers. I'd like to get to the bottom of that, but have no clue…
I usually don't play romance aspirations, but in one of my Sim State University's, Heather Huffington is dating practically everyone she knows! She's dating Castor Nova, Martin Ruben, her professors, her sorority sisters' boyfriends and some of the sisters as well. All up I think that's around 7 or 8 people. She's never…
I've been spending some time back at Pleasantview. I was playing the engaged Dirk and Lilith, and they were happy rising to the top in their careers without any children. Until Don Lothario met Lilith. They quickly hit it off, became friends and went on a date. When Dirk was at work one day, he discovered the two woohooing…
It's long gone now, but I bought a copy of Sims 3 along with Katy Perry's Sweet Treats. I built the most horrendous, neon house drenched in candy decoration. I made myself, though fittingly substituted my last name with Cupcake and I looked nothing like myself. I made a generic candy coated husband, and gave us two twin…
I never really feel like my game is interesting enough to recount but now I'm playing Pleasantview, so all things are happening. I sent the Pleasant sisters, Dustin Broke, Beau Broke and Dirk Dreamer to university. They all graduated with honors. I never saw poor Beau getting a date (though he is my favourite Pleasantview…
I'm sure there's more I can think of, but today while I was playing I wished for readable magazines from photos the paparazzi have taken. I know that it would've been very repetitive like the newspaper and if you could see photos it would be worse, but it would've been a nice touch.
The first time I played was two years after the game came out and I bought it along with Katy Perry's Sweet Treats stuff pack. I made two extremely colourful sims, one being an in name only version of myself (and even then I made the last name Cupcake), and I made three girl children. The house was a glittery mess that…
Moved a new family into Pleasantview, and it's been eventful. There's Amy and Mary, adults, and Lucy, a teenager. Amy worked in the Music career track, but jumped on to the Slacker one as soon as she could, as is necessary for her lifetime want. Amy has a couple of love interests and is good friends with Brandi Broke. Mary…
I absolutely love Juliette Capp! I love the story of Romeo and Juliet, and playing it out as Juliet is great (and it's nice living in a mansion for once).
I prefer Veronaville overall, but the Broke family is definitely my favourite Pleasantview family. Brandi has been trying very hard to support the children and make more money, but is struggling and neglecting her family. Dustin is dating Lilith (or whoever he was crushing on at the start), getting average grades, has a…
More than toddlers, I want realistic teens back. I want the TS2 teenagers who got acne and sneaked out. I also want some of the teen aspects from TS3 Generations, like prom, after school activities and major pranks.
How long do you stay down there? It usually takes at least two sim hours for her to spawn in my game. On rare occasions, she doesn't spawn for me either.
Honestly, I have no clue. With how secretive EA is currently being, I am clueless on what's going on. I think it'll continue, it's certainly made enough money, but who knows in the end.
TS3 is definitely my favourite, but I'm biased because of all the great memories I have, instead of the actual gameplay. I do think the gameplay is great, and the building is varied. TS1 was great for it's time. It was new and it was great. I remember playing it for hours at a time. TS2 is amazing, but when you hadn't…
Fiery Lover When you fall in love, your passion burns with the fire of a thousand suns. You are a great companion. You are generous with WooHoo. Is your love too intense? Perhaps. But if setting your beloved’s house on fire in a fit of jealous rage is wrong, you don’t want to be right. The last sentence is so me, but I…
@egandre If you own Bon Voyage (or the Ultimate Collection), and have attached vacation spots (which you'll be prompted to), just use the phone or computer to book a vacation. Also, if you're struggling with the graphics I strongly suggest getting some custom content, which there's a ton of.
How realistic they felt, and not like chucking a bunch of random sims together. Reading to kids, all the toddler interactions and the teenage 'rebelling against my parents' phase, and seeing the parents deal with it all. And going on camping trips together!
In TS1, I used to make girls and they'd have a ton of affairs (if I didn't kill them first), and I'd try to kill the husbands. I skipped to TS3, where I made a couple, and would have a small family. I never play multiple generations, so I quit pretty quickly. TS4 is similar, even though I don't play it much. In TS2, that…
