  • yes I have Generations installed. They usually get wishes like that if I place something on a lot and that's what happened this time. I was fixing up another house and put the tree house on it. But I don't know how to make them woo hoo in the tree house. I clicked on it but that option didn't come up and I am wondering if…
  • Have the double deluxe edition too, and when they had a special give away of Sims 2 UC was fortunate enough to get that. But I wish they'd just let things be and let the games expire on their own. Have some of the disks and my computer has a disk player but it won't install because Origin keeps popping up. This is new…
  • Played Brandi and made her very successful. She was a challenge to me because she was also pregnant and not showing, living in that run down trailer house. Her 2 children in school, she didn't have a job. But I like challenges. Had her children finish school, and she learned Arts and crafts. It was a lot of hard work…
  • thank you @Karritz, great help :)
  • Thats news, will have to read about it. Thanks for the tip, but not trying to stop them from woo hooing. Want to know how to make them woo hoo in the tree house since 2 of my sims wants to do it and they're married so why not. Was reading a blog about all the places the sims can woo hoo and realized I'm missing some too.…
  • No didn't even know there was a mod to prevent it. Whats it called prevent woo hoo mod, or stop the woo hoo :D
  • That bottle neck problem is one I fix as I go, put additional schools in one town and for Uni changed the student center entrance. Need a place to keep my pics online so I can post them. Anyone know a good place to keep pics online ?
  • Made a mistake, just noticed this thread was created in 2018 and necroposting is against the rules of this board. Thought it was a current thread.
  • yes what you're talking about is different than what we have now. Not to confuse things because in my other post I said we have this. We don't have a way to leave an inheritance to my knowledge, but we do have ways to transfer money in other ways. You are talking about an inheritance, and I agree with you, it would be…
  • yes thought that was possible to gift money but wasn't for certain, and yes forgot about the mooching Sims they can ask for a loan. *edited to fix typo
  • yes very much this can be done, at least in Sims 3. Like @Rosemow said if you use that mod you can do it. And I thought I saw a way to do it in Sims 4. How not sure though. What @SheriGR said is something we don't have and I agree we should have that. Right now in TS3 the game assigns a Sim a certain amount of funds, when…
  • In my game, my Sim in Uni went home for a few days, and I learned she likes making tea. I had placed one of the tea tables from the Old Mill set in the Uni coffee shop, that I had placed in her world (Roaring Heights) Then I noticed she looked at it when it was placed as if she was interested, so I placed the Old Mill in…
  • You can reverse their age. That is kind of off. Elder baby ? Doesn't make sense. But you can turn on the testing cheats, shift click on the baby and change their age.
  • ha ha yes ! (to my shame) Driving in a new state, corrected very quickly of course. :) Great fun watching the kittens :) Can see your cat trying to "groom" you. Thats the affectionate part of them and they are that. HYE had your car / truck stall in the middle of traffic after the light changed ?
  • Hope people don't take this wrong and get offended because that's not the intent of this comment, but for discussion purposes. This (article linked to in twitter by the sims community) doesn't say how much longer they think the game will last. It only says they believe more content will be created for it. In the beginning…
  • Well I learned this a long time ago, and use it in my game. You might have a need for it too one day, if you don't already know it. I learned with testing cheats on you can shift click on your sim, edit them in CAS and turn back their age. I did that for 4 Sims who are attending Uni with my Sim right now. They were 99…
  • yea trying to merge them into an existing household in the travel world would cause problems I guess. I never tried to do that. I just wanted them to meet then I'd move them to the new town if they liked each other, but they never did like each other. iirc only one who traveled to another town liked the Sim I wanted her to…
  • rofl no HYE put up a mattress against the wall and watched kittens climb up and down (fun to watch)
  • yup in one of the iterations they call it financial marriage. Think its TS3
  • I don't remember ever seeing it done that way before, moving to a new town. It could have been, but the way I remember it was you separate the family in edit town and it goes to your clip board, then you put them in your inventory, or move them into a new home. I usually have a back up save so if anything goes wrong I just…
  • Welcome back @lunasysims - In my game my Sim almost got robbed. She has an alarm but the thief almost got away because she was leaving as the police woman was walking up the walkway. So I adopted her to make her change her path in life. She kept heckling my Sim. I gave her a good head start by teaching her some skills,…
  • My Sims usually teach me new things. Like the other day my Sim who lives in Roaring Heights suddenly wanted to go to the festival. When she got there she wanted to egg hunt. It was the Spring festival, but there were no eggs for the egg hunt, and there were a lot of children around. I realized it needed to be fixed, so I…
  • Some people just take comments personally, as if its a personal attack on them. If you apologized, there is nothing much left to do but hope she can accept that, if not now in time. Its a matter of maturity, and we all reach that level at different times in our lives. Please don't beat yourself up about it, its sad it…
  • Different opinions do not bother me but like some others have said Its how the difference of opinion is expressed that makes the difference. As its been said many times, its not what you say, but how you say it and its not what you do but how you do it. What does bother me is preconceptions and judgments (usually wrong) of…
  • no have you ever distracted a fly with one finger then swatted them with the fly swatter ?
  • Right my Sims get those lets hang out calls during the night all the time, so I shut it down by silencing the phone. Father Nicholas or whatever his name is always calling and asking them to hang out. The other calls not so much.
  • I always play with aging off. I age up the toddlers after about 4-6 days. After their parents teach them to walk and talk. Then with the children I usually play it by ear, aging them up after they've been a child about 10 days.
  • nvm K.I.L.L. by wild rabbit, really ? ! Just to be clear, they have the option to have another sim killed by a wild rabbit ? Is that right ? Thanks for the information btw.
  • nvm its Sims 2 - What is happening in your Sims 2 game right now. In my Sims 2 game, I'm playing a family from Belladonna Cove, the father and his daughter. Sorry I don't have screen shots, I'll try to remember to take some when I play that game again. Can't remember their names right now, but the daughter is in Uni. I…
