  • Why are there beds in a highschool? I don't have the pack yet, so I have to ask. Do your teens move there or something?
  • For me there is none. Life doesn't just stop.
  • No insurance. Medical bills are more important. And, I'm not sure I trust giveaways.
  • If it's werewolves, I'll be highly disappointed. I mean, we already have several occults. Let's revisit some of the other older packs. Please? I'm especially waiting on Back Into the Future.
  • I do not, and have never, used mods. In any game. For what they add, I don't find them worth the time maintaining and updating, much less configuring. Not to mention potential security risks (even on reputable sites). Instead, the developers need to look at these for inspiration on what to fix or add to the game.
  • I finally found the Move In / Move Out options. It took about 10 minutes, and the reason being that I don't play scenarios/stories. I didn't know where to look. Their location just isn't intuitive overall.
  • Okay, so if I had both on, families would occasionally move in, and at some point, possibly move out as well, like real life? Where do they go if they move out? Another world, or what?
  • We all appreciate it!
  • Hey, thanks! If you don't mind then, I'd like to make a few suggestions for future discussions. - If possible, I'd like them to be stackable, with each "landing" occuring in the same location for each floor. In the example below, the red and green dots in the bottom floor need to end at the same colored dots on the second.…
  • Into the Future was the best expansion ever, and I'm still waiting for it to come to Sims 4. I swear, I'd play every day.
  • Max and not long enough. The days can go by at the current rate, but I'd like a semi-realistic calendar options with 12 months per year and 3 months per season. I want my sims aging up at appropriate intervals within that setting. I want summers off for kids, teens, and young adults in school, with summer activities, such…
  • Yeah, thanks! I figured that out later on. However, because I was testing stuff, he had like three different death types attached to him. I had use traits.remove_trait to get rid of all the extra ones. And I have no clue about placing your ghost. I've never messed with non-household sims. Maybe someone will come along with…
  • Generally speaking, I have a layout in mind, but I don't build the specific house. I build rooms, individually, on the same lot, figure out how best to slot them together and/or make hallways. When doing the rooms, sometimes I build first, then fill. Other times, I place furniture on the ground and build around it, so that…
  • I turn it off for one in-game year upon creating a new save to allow for the sims to "catch up" a bit. People don't come into the world as an adult with no satisfaction or skills. Even child-aged sims should have something, you know? After that, I turn it back on. Whatever they can get in that time should be good enough.
  • I have no preference. It depends on the story.
  • Your question wasn't entirely clear to me. Are you wanting to play all of them, simulateously, with a single sim, or simply have them all in one world, with different sims?
  • I want a nice sprawling suburban area, like Simi Valley, California. A few streets with a ton of lots for tract housing, etc. Like, a whole street of 30W x 40D lots, sidled up against one another.
  • True, stackable, spiral stairs to fit all three wall heights. Fix the bug when placing plants near columns. Cars, even if non-functional. Garage doors that can open and close. More terrain paints that match floor tiles. Back Into The Future expansion pack, including Simbots and elevator tubes! More older male hairstyles,…
  • Will they get off on the rights floors?
  • Is it stackable? I have four floors and two basements to connect within a 2x2 space?
  • Nice, but it needs to be stackable and in a 2x2 area. For my builds anyway. I tried with ladders, but they can't be stacked, and the stairs end up 3x3.
  • Yeah, I already save often, but I've stepped it up. Also, I turned off all the object "Auras" I could find, and that seemed to help too. They were all on. And I'm keeping an eye out for the attribute "Very [X]" instead of just [X]. The problem with this sim was that she was downstairs and I didn't notice. lol They really…
  • Ok. I got it resolved. The trick is to just exit. It'll say it can't save, which is what I wanted anyway. Reloaded to last save. Lost about a day in game, but that's okay.
  • They must've changed something, because she has NO interactions at all. Oh, and I can't save, even if I wanted to. They're greyed out. For all intents, I see no way to avoid this. I hope it doesn't auto-save this way. Maybe a Task Manager termination is in order?
  • I don't have any rules, as such. However, I do have a couple of practices I enforce upon making a new household. 1) When I make a sim, I award them a specific amount of Satisfaction points based on life stage. This accounts for whatever life they've lived up until the point I begin playing them. First, I determine how old…
  • Dang it, I tried the old age ghost_trait cheat, and somehow he's green. How do I make it so he's white/clear and just chills with no special abilities, such as water puddles for drowning?
  • I've already solved this one. Apparently, I missed a built in fence that worked perfectly for it. You can see it in the image below, as it runs across the front of the lot.
  • Not really. I made a driveway for a house that used the exact thing you talked about; the section at the top is flat, but the ramp down I had to use a matching terrain paint. I was only curious if doing it Sims 3 style was possible. I guess not. Thanks.
