It wouldn't be as big of a deal if they hadn't given us so much ammo this entire release. From day one they have done nothing right. Weirdly, my laptop failed to install the Microsoft thing as well. But I was able to continue the installation and the driver is installed fine. Well, at least according to dxdiag and the CCC. EDIT: Just noticed you fixed that problem. I believe you can reinstall the visual C++ from the microsoft website as well.

Your 4200 runs on max? Does it lag at all? I have a 4250 and it flips out when I turn on AR. My normally constant 30 goes to about 6 in CAS and hovers in between 11-20 in game.
