I like family play. The main way I keep it enjoyable is rotational play where I try to have my families in different stages in life, like switching between YA's without kids or college students and families with kids. I also make sure that I have a storyline going in every family and to always keep that storyline…
This just in: The US is not the only country. Really though, in a lot of places in the world, there are laws that protects people's salaries when they aren't allowed to go in to work when something like the corona outbreak is happening. I'm not saying that it won't affect some people's economy world wide, especially for…
Kids definitley should. Toddlers however are learning to walk and talk in this game. They're like one. I'd love for them to be able to pull apart other sims unfinished knitting projects.
I think it’ll be mid-April at the very latest if we’re getting anything, if they’re following the EP in June and November schedule. The fact that they’re aren’t any leaks doesn’t have to mean anything. It could either be code that has been in the game for a while and have been discussed in the community, but not recently,…
No, because they had the rebrand less than a year ago and a rebrand for a game that only has 1-2 years left doesn’t make sense. I think 22-23 is more likely.
No, I just think that they haven't had the right pack to do it. You can't be an architect, a librarian or a truck driver either and none of those are exactly controverisal. Also, we do have stuff in the game that some people might consider more controverisal than a therapist.
I honestly think it’s just to keep things organised. People comparing different games have derailed a fair amount of threads, and with this, comparing games can be done in one place and not in threads where the OP didn’t want a discussion about which game is better.
They always have a coffee pot and the adults drink coffee with their breakfasts. Their player is Swedish after all and we drink a lot of coffee here. I have littlemissams SD tray mod and I always put that one in too to give them the option to have other drinks as well. It might be a glass of lemonade a hot summers day, a…
I'd love a teen focused SP, but I honestly don't know what they'd put in a teen GP. Classes in sims 3 university got old very quickly, and other than that, I don't think there is enough big stuff for teens to warrant a GP, that isn't already in the game. The teen hangout lot trait is great for making cafés where the teens…
I mean, I would love more teenager gameplay, but I honestly don't think it's bad, at least not if you have parenthood. To me, the trick is to play your teenagers as teenagers, even though they can do the same things as adults. My teenagers tease their siblings, insult family members when they are in a bad mood and…
I have a routine for my sims for when they wake up and go to bed and brushing their teeth is part of that. I don't mind that it's not required though, there are many different playstyles and it would be annoying to a lot of simmers. If you're into mods and want some kind of consequence for not brushing teeth,…
If I can still run sims 4 well, yes, I don't see why I wouldn't play it in 2024. The way I play, it's mostly my own imagination used to come up with story lines and using the sims to play them out. I don't see me tiring of that unless the game won't run smoothly. I also might be playing any other games within the genre…
I’m a teacher, and I wouks personally say that psychology is prbbaly the closest you’ll get to pure education studies. Not perfect, but closest. If it was realistic, teachers would need to study at least two subjects though. One for learning how to teach and one for learning the subject they’ll be teaching
I hope that day off school/work for holidays includes class as well, but on the other hand, the acting career in GF doesn’t, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it didn’t. As for rotational, I hope sims won’t progress unless you play them. I’m considering having my sims doorms as residential lots and adding roommates myself…
The US is in the minority on that one, you can drink in most of the world by the time you're 18 och 19. I like that they don't automatically follow the us way of doing things as much anymore. The sims is an international game
I prefer to not come to sit in on lectures, or at least not be forced to do it. Also, you could sit in on more in ts3, but there were only like 6 majors. If having rabbithole lectures means more majors that incorporates existing gameplay and careers rather than them having to make new stuff for fewer majors, I'm taking…
It seems to only be a thing in the US, and I'm thinking that they're dropping it since it's not just an american game. To me it seems like the sensible choice, if it's not a part of uni for the majority of the player base, why keep it in just because it's common in the country where the game is produced?
I LOVE what we've seen so far. I'm not ruling out that I could bbe majorly dissapointed and it looks a lot better in the trailer than what it will later, but so far it definitely has the potential to become one of my favourite worlds.
The oldest teen in the next gen of my rotational save is nearing the end of his teenage years, so this really couldn't have come at a better time for me. I'm going to make sure he's ready for university once it drops and enroll him. His two younger siblings aren't that much younger than him and they have quite different…
I think that's pretty standard. Looking back at older trailers, almost all of the reveal trailers are somewhere around the 1,5 minute mark, with only GF and IL living being shorter. Seasons was 1.28 for comparisson
Parties, yes, they were kind of hinted at in the description. If not a new party type, we'll at least have the kegs and stuff. Dating feature, no. We can already date, and I personally don't even see what could be updated that is specific to university. I feel like people do less online dating in uni because they're always…
