At some point I will. I buy everything, but I was underwhelmed by the trailer. Maybe if I find something I like about the new pack I'll buy it on release day regardless of price.
I own everything and I have a PS5. I only run into lag when my Sim takes a photo or I go into build/buy mode, but there's an easy "on the fly" fix for that. I click on the three dots on the top right corner to bring up the options popup and the lag usually goes away.
Absolutely. I find it relaxing to hear Japanese Folk, S-Pop or Electronic music in the background while my Sim is in her konbini turned living space painting, writing books or entertaining visitors.
I buy everything, but this is the first pack I have zero enthusiasm for. Maybe if I learn more about its features before Release Day I'll change my mind.
Considering my personal experiences with renting an apartment, I was triggered by the trailer. If there's ten people max on the lot, I hope nine of them aren't sharing the same unit above my Sim. I also have concerns about the klepto NPCs. There still isn't a fix for the ones that barge into your unit in San Myshuno...
I build my own homes, but my last build was based on the non-playable konbinis (Japanese convenience stores) found in Mt. Komorebi's Senbamachi neighborhood. On the outside it looks like one of those stores but with living space built above it. The inside is a roomy one bedroom, one bathroom home.
I'm a huge fan of Vintage Glamour, so I already know I'm going to love the Modern Luxe kit. I'm sure the Poolside Splash kit will be put to use when my Sim visits Sulani or goes swimming in Mt. Komorebi.
My best guess is a few inches under 3 feet. I really thought about that when I started building shipping container homes with the Eco-Friendly EP. A container is 8'6" tall and there's a steel door for a container that's 3 squares wide.
Sorry if this is considered necroposting, but I've discovered that if you click the three dots on the top right corner of the screen to bring up the options, ex: Save, Manage Worlds, Etc., it usually will solve the console lag. You don't have to actually save it either. It works in both live and building modes, too.
I haven't done anything yet, but I can picture building a tri-story home on my favorite small lot in Mt. Komorebi's 6-4-1 Hanamigawa in the future. The first floor would have the entry way and a stall for the horse. The living space would be the two floors above it.
As of last week, I own everything. Due to circumstances during the pandemic, I couldn't buy anything after Snowy Escape came out. I also skipped Eco Lifestyle at the time due to all of the bugs and glitches. The game has changed so much since then, it's almost like I'm playing a new game right now. I also paid my credit…
I once built a tri-level condo based on a real life one I looked at for a possible purchase several years ago. I took plenty of interior photos for reference, but even with the actual floor plans it's impossible to make every room have the same dimensions as its real life counterpart. If you're okay with settling for small…
My First Pet. When I switched from PC to a PS5, it was the only pack I didn't repurchase in the PS Store. For gameplay it's Romantic Garden. It's not that I hate it. My recent builds are on elevated piers on the beach, so I really can't use those items.
Happy Pride Month, everyone! Earlier today, I found a church that displayed a Progressive Pride flag. Considering the current climate, it made my day seeing that.
I'm in the "meh" category for now. I really wish there weren't so many bugs when playing this game. Doesn't matter if it was PC, PS4 or PS5. There are times when it was literally unplayable. I haven't played the game in months, and right now there really isn't a compelling reason for me to fire it up on my PS5. You know…
I had issues with lagging in Build/Buy mode on the PS4 but otherwise it was fine. I did have to reinstall everything after one of the patches a few months back caused a lot of crashes. I managed to get a PS5 recently, and when I fired up the game for the first time yesterday the difference was like night and day. It was…
I feel so strongly about my vote that if I used the language I'd want to use to express my opinion I'd get banned from here. Or every other word would be plum. I love playing The Sims because it's NOT multiplayer. My experiences with multiplayer games have mostly been terrible, and I hate how EA does force it down my…
