  • All these are great items and I'd be happy to see any of them, along with cars and the tractor was a cool item in 3. New packs will have to have something I really want in them to get me to buy them.
  • I love cars in general, so yes, they are a huge deal in Sims. I don't care how much they do or don't do in this game at this point. Just give me a car that stops when a sim is in the middle of the road instead of running straight through them like they do in 3. LOL.
  • I would love a pool table. I've recreated my own home in the game and I have a pool table in my garage. It would great to to truly represent it instead of placing a ping pong table there instead.
  • This would be an awesome addition to the game. There are so many more options in real life now than there was in the past and the game should include that. I wouldn't mind a pack coming out that dives into all levels of school, from preschool to college that allowed us to create our own schools and set them as places our…
  • That's cool. I'm normally one of the players that wait until a few DLC come out before switching games, but I have never played a game from day one before. So that will be a new, exciting experience for me.
  • What would we give up to have weather in base game? I am asking this as a player who doesn't care either way. I have read before that games with weather in base game perform better than games with weather in DLC. If this is truth, then I would gladly give up something we normally have in base for better performance. I…
  • I have hope for any new life simulator because I am not enjoying any of the sims games anymore. Indy companies have made really good games in the past. I don't know if they can or can't pull off all the features they currently have spoken about. I'm not a coder, but for me, I care about the gameplay, creation, and…
  • All these things are the reason I liked The Sims. If it goes to "everybody" rating, I'll stop because in order to do that things like woohoo will have to go and I'm pretty sure all the challenge will be gone as well. Might as well be My Sims and not Sims 5.
  • At this point, I am beyond ready for Sims 5. I absolutely loved Sims 4 when I first started playing, but to be honest I was obsessed with building for a long time. LOL. I love the graphics so much that I can't enjoy the older games now because of it. I've been trying to just play the game. I always play a rags to riches…
  • There has been a lot of backlash about the lore. I don't think it will go so far off in the next game.
  • These are all great. I am going to be excited when Sims 5 comes out, no matter how it is made, because seriously ya'll we have loved Sims for a long time! I really want the game-play to come back. All the humor. I'm really looking forward to the new generation. The wait is too long!
  • Thanks. I wasn't sure where to put it. :D
  • I'm having issues with harvesting wild crops. Anyone else? New game, old game, mods, no mods. I can't harvest anything that is not on my lot. All I can do is uproot and view. Uprooting turns it to garbage. Which makes no sense. When I first saw it I figured I could take it and plant it in my own yard. That would have made…
  • That is what the toggles are for. Turn it all off by default. This game is not meant for young children in the first place, but as a parent, I explained where meat comes from to my children. They asked this question without a game, so it's going to come up. If anything, it could be a teaching tool. If you explain it right…
  • It's easy to offend people these days. I personally have no problem with harvesting meat in The Sims. I wouldn't have a problem with my children playing that because it is The Sims and I know it would not include graphic killing. The only thing that offends me is the way others push their likes and dislikes on everybody…
  • So here's the thing. We as players are at the mercy of the creators. We can come here and beg, plead, and, demand. At the end of the day it is a business. Charts and sales dictate the direction. In other words, what they are doing, sells. Which means what we are currently getting will continue as long a players are…
  • I understand that game developers want to evolve and try new things. They want to keep up with the times and bring in new players. I'm a creative person. I try new things all the time. I get it. I used to play a game called Yoworld on Facebook. It loved it because it was Sims-like. I even enjoyed some aspects of the online…
  • I don't know if I call it addicted. When I play it's on all day long. What I like about Sims is it is a game I can walk away from and do other things why it plays on. I know everything can go crazy if you do that, but I love that. I come back and sometimes nothing happens and other times all crazy!
  • I've spent too much time in this forum today. LOL. Basically, modernize Sims 2. It was the most entertaining! Return all the animations of 2. Open neighborhoods. Creating neighborhoods was part of that game at base. Sims 4 CAS and building system. Sims 3 lifespan sliders, some kind of color wheel, All those textures can be…
  • Agreed. Sims 3 regular price should be much, much cheaper. And the store content should be reduced alot! Actually, the store items should be at the one dollar an item level at this point. Or is it time to start giving it away from time to time? I think EA keeps these prices as they are because this game has as much traffic…
  • I want to create and change everything! All of the top wants we say over and over again. I want those things. What I want the most is the funny, detailed animations we had in Sims 2. I enjoyed those Sims in normal gameplay more than any other game. I want improved AI and routing. It was good in 3. I'm so over fighting with…
  • If Sims 5 was an updated version of Sims 2, I would be in heaven! Sims 2 with Sims 4 graphics, CAS and building system. I'm good. Add in an open neighborhood, lifespan sliders from 3, maybe a toned down version of the color wheel ... OMG! I loved the animations. Detailed. Funny. Personalities were truly unique. I loved how…
  • Sims 1: Never played Sims 2: Open For Business. The AI for businesses was amazing! Best in the franchise! Build anything! Sell anything! And in home businesses! My favorite for all 4 games. Hands down! Sims 3: Into The Future This was so interesting. Traveling to the future. Wandering the world. Jet packs and my favorite,…
  • When I hear subscription, I think about current games that have gone that route. You pay a big price for the disc, then get it home and you can't play it unless you give them money every single month. No thank you. I will not buy a subscription to play game and I will not buy a 100% online game. I like the online features…
  • Wow! I haven't watched the bonus features of Wreck It Ralph, but I have to see this!
  • I agree. Seasons in basegame and a whole lot of fleshed out, detailed gameplay in basegame. Generations, parenting, ect. Many simmers have played the game since 1 or 2. We're ready for something new. I'm even willing to pay more for the basegame if that's what it means to have this included. Weather is a huge system. I…
  • So true. The thought of a new game is always exciting. However, I know how business works. Sims 4 is beautiful, but it lacks ALOT. And that won't change. Because too many still buy every pack. Which tells EA that what they currently do, works. Detailed and finished takes man hours. Man hours cost money. Why put in more…
  • Whatever they do, I just hope there's nothing fake. Yesterday I was in Willow Creek. I zoomed out and counted 31 houses in the area and only 5 were playable. I love the look of 4 but I hope the cartoonish map does not make a comeback. I'm more into the style of Sims 3 maps. I'd like to rotate and zoom in map view. Add and…
  • I played that in the past. That was an amazing game! I currently play Planet Coaster. Definitely the modern version of Sims Theme Park and Rollercoaster Tycoon. Not much you can't do. :D
