One of the last two options or somewhere inbetween so they can match the news with a quick Halloween/Half Term sale before the pack comes out in November.
I'm doubtful to be honest. Realm of Magic will probably release in October to maximise on that Autumn/Halloween vibe so having a full expansion release the following month seems a bit optimistic but I could be surprised. If they were going to squeeze something else in I think it would most likely be a stuff pack. We're…
The expansion looks great but I was most excited when they announced the magic game pack. I hope we get to use ingredients and make some cool things like we did back in Makin' Magic. It's probably asking too much but the return of dragons would be awesome.
I voted Laundry Stuff because you said family oriented and the items in the pack are great. Strangerville is also great though. I love the world that it comes with, it's almost worth it for that alone. First Pet Stuff is actually cute if you can get past EA's dubious method of splitting content from the Pets pack. Bowling…
I can't really pick. I love Brindleton Bay especially the walk down to the beach area but I do also really love the vibe in Strangerville, it's quickly become one of my favs. The only thing holding me back from putting it down as my number one favourite is the number of lots available in the town area. You can basically…
Not in TS4. I've made one in the past, in TS2 and it was funny seeing myself turn up on community lots but it was just too weird playing with the actual Sim so I've not made one in the newer games.
It's fine today but I did have this problem a few days ago when my router was acting up. Try rebooting your router and then your pc and try again as that worked for us.
I typically only buy the ones that I want and I normally wait for a sale because expansion packs are not cheap for what they are. Sims 2 I bought everything (except for stuff packs) at release and enjoyed it all. Sims 3 I was less enamoured with and only bought a few packs here and there. It's only in the last couple of…
All except Jungle Adventures, Fitness Stuff and Luxury Party Stuff. Most of them bought during sales. I was only slowly buying the stuff packs but that sale in December meant that I added a few as extras for Xmas so the collection suddenly jumped.
This is basically it. If you just power through, ticking things off the list (as I did, can't help myself) then you rob yourself of adding your own story element to the game. I enjoyed myself but as the story progressed I realised that I'd missed a trick not getting more involved with the local community. You need to…
One season and a day so eight days. No cheating and he had enough money to last during that time so he didn't need to work. I didn't see the point of pushing him to exhaustion so I let him sleep when he was home if he needed to. It took just over 3hrs in real life. I did just get on with the aspiration and didn't really…
Vampires only because I don't really play with vampires, however what they did with the pack was well done. Outdoor Retreat was a bit disappointing in content although I loved the theme. I don't own Jungles Adventures yet so can't comment on that.
Home birth. I don't like that the hospital option is always a caesarean. It's vaguely funny the first time but also mildly horrifying. Also major surgery followed by being swiftly kicked out and sent home doesn't really make it much of an event. It would be nice if they got to stay overnight or checked up on after birth…
I did use it for a bit but I didn't like the population explosion that happened that made absolutely no sense for the households involved. I know you can tweak the settings but I actually don't like that it has so many features packed into one mod so I just pulled it all and plan to possibly install it later and just add…
I think it's a bit of fun and could be useful for interesting pictures or video. What I'm more annoyed (but not surprised) by is some of the comments the gurus have been getting about it just because they had their heart set on some feature from their personal wish list that didn't materialise when nothing was promised.…
I use a note taking program called Flashnote. I use the portable version as I can move it easily to a USB flash drive if I need to. I like using it because you can make different notes and then child notes below that so they are grouped together and it's easy to browse through the list. For my rotation hood there's the…
It's a Windows update that stops it running. Microsoft decided that certain DRM software like SafeDisc (which Sims 1 uses) is now a security risk because of the way it installs onto your system. Remember the Securom controversy when they started using that for Sims 2? Well now after all this time Microsoft decided that…
Everything from 2 with some of the quality of life improvements from 4 and just in higher definition. I've mulled over whether I'd like a TS2 game with TS4 looking sims but I'm not sure that I would. They just wouldn't look the same personality wise but slightly higher quality models and textures would be great.
One of my favourite features is being able to adjust the position of the house on the lot. Very useful when using smaller gallery houses on larger lots.
