  • I need to check out how this works in game because I skipped right to the infant stage but I was just reading over the update notes and saw this: This was such a pet peeve of mine so I'm very happy that they've updated that.
  • I personally didn't like it. Too much filler and the actual sneak peeks felt like a blink and you miss it moment, especially for a half hour video. Also felt a bit too congratulatory. I know they have to big up their product but it was a bit much for me personally. Now I've been able to go back and pause things and look at…
  • Yes these are the ones I use and they are lovely. Has a more painterly look but not as flat and lifeless as the defaults. My only complaint would be the trees look a bit too obviously cut and pasted. I think it would have been better to add a couple of variations for each tree type and mix them up a bit but other than that…
  • I have the Logitech G203 mouse and just noticed this effect today. Very cool addition but I will say we thought something had gone horribly wrong when we first started up the game because the white and green animation that they mention in the article looks more like the mouse is malfunctioning, it switches so fast between…
  • Thanks for this. Couldn’t find my back up in the end so I’m saving this so I can copy it back over.
  • I think it was stuff like that. I took it off mine at some point because I did use the drive a lot and needed the space but I would have backed up the contents somewhere on my PC. I'm just not sure where or if I will be able to even find it after all this time.
  • You definitely should update your mods or temp remove in the mean time. I think someone elsewhere mentioned Basmental stops it showing up.
  • I like using "clutter" to add personality to a place and make it look lived in but I do not feel the need to put it everywhere. I've seen builds with kitchen counters with so much stuff that in reality would be a nightmare to clean. You just need a couple of pieces for some extra colour in my opinion
  • Why is still a thing? It drives me nuts. It's like the game is permanently in tutorial mode.
  • MFPS went on sale for 50% off pretty early on, probably to boost sale numbers and as already pointed out the November released expansions often show up in the Christmas sales. Personally I like that a selection of the game packs are actually 50% off because 25% always seems like such a stingy discount and yes I did just…
  • I agree with CDrayan. I would pay for it on GOG at a reasonable price.
  • I had to double check because I can never remember if it was 2001 or 2002 but it was The Sims 2 House Party Pack with base game before they added Livin' Large to the bundle so that was 2002 and I know it was around February/March because it was a few weeks after I had bought my own PC which was second hand so even though…
  • Do you use a userstartup.cheat file for TS2? You can use that to either enable cheats by default when the game loads or you can create shorter nicknames for each cheat so instead of having to type out moveObjects on each time I just type moveon and moveoff. The SnapObjectsToGrid cheat lets you freely place items (I use…
  • I voted Katy Perry because it's the only pack that I didn't buy. I only own it because someone gifted it to me years later when they were selling off disks copies cheap. I felt like EA thought Sims 1 Superstar was fondly remembered so used this idea for a commercial tie in but everything is so over the top it's off…
  • I wish we had a TS2 version of the cars. I hate how they just teleport into cars in TS3. The delight is in the detail. Seeing them walk down the steps of the school bus, check their report card and then run to show their parents is a lot more immersive to me than just materialising onto the lot. Struggling to afford a car…
  • I think we're probably going to be surprised but if I had to guess and seeing as they've said it's not farming it could be similar to number 1 as in some sort of winter theme vacation world as we near winter ourselves in the northern hemisphere but I don't think that we'll get to live there. Maybe I'm being pessimistic but…
  • Neighborhood deco is one of my favourite things to find as there's not a huge amount out there compared to other CC but people have done a lot of TS3 to TS2 conversions of rabbit hole buildings. I can also recommend anything by Criquette who's content you can find on MTS and newer things on Tumblr. CuriousB for skyboxes…
  • Oh wow thanks for pointing out this creator, I haven't seen their stuff before. They have some really cool builds and Sims on their page. I like the Millennium Falcon house build and a pretty cool Kylo Ren inspired house which made me giggle as I imagined Kylo skulking around in there. I might have to use them with the new…
  • A patch for the PC version just popped.
  • Most of the time I add a fence at the back because that's what I'm used to in real life and the property looks too open without it. They normally have to wait for it because they can't afford a fence at the beginning. The front it depends on the location and the building itself but I do like using a low fence or scrubbery…
  • I use LittleMsSam's bug fix mod but it doesn't stop it from breaking it just doesn't happen as often. I left it vanilla to start with and the animation when they get hit got old fast so I use this mod. IceMunMun has the mod that stops it altogether but I don't want to do that just not every single night because that's not…
  • Thank you, that second link worked for me.
  • Download link sadly no longer works.
  • Does anyone know where I can find this converted set: http://sims4downloads.net/sims-4-designs-windmill-and-solar-panels-set/ The blog it links to is no longer live. I'm aware of the Wind Tubine on MTS by Bakie but I prefer the the look of the one linked above for a residential lot.
  • I don't overly worry about the calories although I try not to let them snack on junk food too much but I mainly like to give them a bit of variety and not stick with the same thing just because it's easiest or first on the list.
  • 9 altogether. Some are a bit redundant but I keep them around anyway. * My lot building save. * From when Strangerville came out, that one is turning into a bit of a rotational save as I added some of the Sims 2 Strangetown families to it. * Some of the in game challenges that we had. * My proper legacy save and then two…
  • No I hated it. If you are a completionist buying the whole store was just not feasible, it was too much money. I know some people managed to get a lot of it through the various deals and bundles and that seemed like a game in itself but I don't have time for that. At least with Stuff packs it's straight forward to see…
  • There are combined entertainment units which let you watch TV, read books and listen to music. One attaches to the wall. They would be good space savers for a caravan. It also depends if you like the overall style on how much it would be of use to you. Personally I think it's all very useful stuff and the colour swatches…
  • There are three levels of tiny home in the pack. 100 squares being the largest and in my opinion very doable for a four person home. After that the next one down would be a bit of a squeeze but I think that is what would make in interesting, utilise the outside space more. I've seen a one tile bathroom created by…
  • I don't typically buy Stuff packs at launch as they are a bit hit and miss for me and a tad overpriced IMO but I liked the look of the content and decided to treat myself.
