I've got this issue as well. It's annoying, but hopefully it'll be fixed soon. Meanwhile, with my shower/bathtubs, I'm having my Sims have baths instead of showers as a way to work around it until it gets fixed.
A film I watched not long ago called In This Corner Of The World. The first half was a little slow, but then suddenly a lot of things happen. The saddest part for me (spoiler alert) was when the main character and the little girl she's with go out, and a time-delay bomb blows up very close to them. The little girl dies,…
Same here. I love Titanic but it's so hard watching those poor people suffer and die like that, and then you see their frozen bodies in the water. What makes it worse is that it really did happen.
I'd like to see The Sims 5, but I'm happy to wait a few years. I'm quite happy with The Sims 4, and I don't feel like I've seen everything The Sims 4 has to offer yet (I want to see Seasons and a University expansion). To be honest, I really have no clue what The Sims 5 might be like, because look at the comparisons…
I've just had this problem. I tried resetSim with no luck. In the end I just bulldozed the household with the emergency (after saving a copy of the house and the family to the library). That did the trick, but it's frustrating because it shouldn't happen in the first place. There should be a marker or something on each Sim…
I feel the same way as you do actually, especially in The Sims 4. I love the game, don't get me wrong, but when you want your Sims to act serious it's pretty frustrating when they act goofy. It's like you can't restrain that part of them. I wish sometimes that Sims were more calmer and serious and mature, but that's just…
For me, The Sims 2: FreeTime was my favourite expansion pack from the entire series. I loved that my Sims had something to do in their spare time that meant something rather than just filling needs and possibly levelling up skills. Other EPs that I liked were University, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Apartment Life (Sims 2),…
I like The Sims 4 the best, especially now it's been patched a lot since it's initial release and there's lots more content and gameplay. The Sims 3 is good too but it can be a bit laggy and buggy, and The Sims 2 was something I played a lot on my old computer before the computer went wrong. I still have my whole Sims 2…
I like creating Sims, building and decorating houses, and I like playing one family throughout the generations. I like The Sims 4 the best, The Sims 3 is good but it can be laggy and buggy, and I used to love playing The Sims 2 on my old computer. I remember when I was younger and before I knew about The Sims, I turned to…
I watched The Green Mile twice. It's one of my new favourite movies. It's so sad. And the botched execution scene, that's horrific. Also, it was sad when Mr. Jingles got killed, but I was so happy when he was resurrected by John Coffey. There's so many sad scenes in that film.
I'd love to see a restorable car (or more than just the one model) like in The Sims 2 FreeTime. Also, I'd like to see bicycles and motorbikes as well, and maybe buses? My main thing is the restorable car.
So from what I've heard so far is that I should get the ultimate collection, not install the discs. But the question now is which computer to install it on? Edit: Actually, after reading the comments again it seems that Windows 8.1 desktop PC is the best option. My laptop is old, has much less space, and has lower specs.
When I first heard of The Sims, my brother's friend brought home The Sims Bustin' Out on the PS2. I was about 7 at the time and I'd always wanted to play a game where it was almost like playing with dollhouses. They let me play it for a bit but because I was young I didn't really get how to play it, and so I got stuck and…
Hmm. This is difficult for me because I quite like all of them in their own way. The ones I wasn't so keen on or didn't really make much use of were Nightlife and Open for Business for TS2, but I didn't really dislike any TS3 and TS4 expansions. I didn't buy World Adventures, Ambitions or University Life but I thought they…
Earlier I was listening to California Dreamin' by The Mamas and the Papas, and also Motel California by Eagles. Those songs bring a smile to my face. Also, I was listening to Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones, another good song.
My passion for the USA hasn't changed, even with Donald Trump taking over as US president. It's not that I don't love my own country, the UK, it's just that I feel like the USA is the place I want to be. I know it's not all glamorous and perfect but where is? One day I'd love to go back there. It's one of my dreams to…
No name, I'm afraid. Wish I had psychic powers so I could find out where it is, it's so annoying! I've asked around and some staff are going to keep an eye out for me. I hope no-one's found it and kept it for themselves. Thanks anyway. I'm sure it will show up when I least expect it. I'd hate to think it's out there, lost…
I asked the library and reception but no luck, though they'll email me if they find anything. I looked in all the places I could think of but no luck either. I won't give up yet.
I've just been rereading this post. Wow, I posted it last year, that feels like ages ago. I might as well tell you what happened, but quite a lot happened since. For my group project (when I was group leader and doing pretty much everything on time and being organised), I was the only person in my group who passed. I…
I had the same problem last night. I pre-ordered the physical disc version on Amazon and it arrived early in the post. I managed to type in the product redeem code but I couldn't actually download it until a few hours later. So I went to bed and now this morning as I type this my game is downloading. So next time I'll know…
Quick update, I turned off compatibility mode and it seems to have done the trick. My game is so much brighter now, I can properly see what I'm doing and the game still works fine. Thanks!
Worst Things About Group Projects (In my opinion) 1. You always end up in the worst group because everyone else you know that is reliable and hard-working is already taken. 2. The people in your group are the opposite of what you are: you're hard-working, dedicated and reliable. 3. You always end up doing most of the work,…
