I think it's nice to have these types of gameplay for people who want more 'darker things' in the game. It doesn't affect anyone else's playstyle so I don't think it's really a problem. That being said, I'm not gonna use this lol
It would be nice if they updated all of these with needs and interactions. The Coolant and Rodents have them, would be cool if the others did as well. I feel bad for Frogs and Fish never getting to be fed, cleaned or socialized with, especially Frogs and other small pets that are given such small living spaces.
After EA's initial treatment of The Sims 4, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, as well as their unethical treatment of gambling mechanics in their sports games, and how they abandon ship on a lot of projects that don't do well, even when they forced developers to release them before they were finished, I'm very skeptical about how…
It would be really cool if they added a section for Phobia Traits and maybe add Scared and/or Disgusted Emotions. Or perhaps an Attraction and Preference System since likes and dislikes kind of are mini-traits.
Especially with more and more traits being added. I feel like Adults and Elders should be given Trait slots to provide a bit more incentive for players to age Sims up, and it helps to differentiate them from Young Adult.
I kind of like the way Sims 4 uses Aspirations to guide players through the new content, it helps me understand what content comes with the pack better.
Agreed! I really wish Traits would be more tied to growth like the personality value traits in Parenthood. Like perhaps Sims get the Clumsy Trait if they grow up but have low Movement Skill as a Toddler?
Acting is the best career in my opinion,it's so in-depth and full of variety, but it's also shorter periods of gameplay with higher rewards that directly impact fame, which I love!
It wasn't bad, the trailer showed us most of what was going into the pack. Most comments I saw were the usual complaints we get with every single release, the "No one wanted this" comments along with the "I want X pack, not this", and I think the fake leak significantly made it worse. We just need to learn not to judge…
Consoles: "Selling DLC that requires DLC is a no no" Also consoles: "Let's keep allowing false advertising, underaged gambling with undisclosed odds and force our players to pay subscriptions to play multi-players" Anyway, I'm happy we may be getting it this year! I've been wanting it for so long 😭
I find this all to be very melodramatic. It's been 20 years.. cool! But that's that 🤷♀️ they have a schedule for when they CAN release content, at least we got something. Would I have wanted more? Plum yes! Did I expect anything? No, because almost every video game franchise has disappointed me with their anniversary…
I just had two problems today: First, I couldn't change speeds in the game, it stayed paused, though at first I could only switch between pause and normal speed. I reboot, and now my Sim is obsessed with her Toddler, cancelling every action I make her do and just autonomously caring for her Toddler.
More options is always good, they need to find a middle ground that gives stories for those that want it, and doesn't complicate stories of those who prefer to craft their own. Personally, my experiences in Sims 4 have made me love it on a storytelling standpoint. I have two Sims who were childhood friends and fell in love…
It still bugs me that they have difficult adding this to consoles when consoles are full of worse micro-transactions 🤦♀️ to Sony and Microsoft: your hypocrisy is showing.
Congrats to the team! You guys made a game that is loved by many, and has helped many through their rough patches! Here's hoping that EA gives the team a bit of a bigger budget, and maybe a bonus ;)
Sims 4 easily! The Sims and worlds are more beautiful, there are more and wider varieties of CaS and B&B mode assets, the gameplay is more fun and in-depth, and the best part is that there's significantly less performance issues. Don't get me wrong, I love all the games, but Sims 4 holds my attention span the longest and…
I don't know, I was literally playing The Sims 2 and 3 just days ago, all packs for all games, yet I found that ALL games had a saddening amount of content for the younger life stages. I think Sims 4 is on a better track of making them more enjoyable and in-depth though.
Parenthood, though it was a tough choice between that and Vampires. It just adds a lot to family Dynamics, and more content for multiple life stages is always great!
EP: Get Together - I just feel like it's a random mesh of content. So many activities, but none with actual depth, DJ Mixing is fun but Dancing is so lackluster. The world is the best part in my opinion, it's lovely, but I find everything else in the pack kind of boring. GP: Outdoor Retreat - I just expected more from a…
