1. Sims taking out hundreds of books and not putting any back in! 2. Sims running everywhere.. I would prefer to choose if they walk or run. It makes it most realistic if they have time and just walk back home rather than run like they suddenly need to write on the computer

They will be on the hard drive! If you will be able to get them back what I recommend doing is zipping up your Electronic Arts folder and putting it on a USB stick! That is what I do. I mostly do it because I switch devices a lot.. and also for safety !
