Just had origin try to force it on me, would not allow me to open sims 3, found a line of code on Answers HQ which finally got rid of that annoying pop up so my game works again but for how long.

I had the same issue this week after discovering one of my store packs was not installed, could download from the store, but launcher refused to install it, saying I did not own it. What worked for me was being logged in to origin and having it online

I voted Tiny Living because its the pack I enjoyed the most. My Sims, houses are normally too big, so it's been a challenge for me making smaller homes. Micro homes are great for starter Sims.

Yes, I also see origins very slow repair, Origin is also running my CPU at 100%, so I am reluctant to use it.

I have no game crashing issues in my game. I just aged up my toddler with the birthday cake , had him ask mum for help and it worked fine. I have seen a bug report on the Answers HQ, so you may want to add to that or at least me to.

It may depend on their update settings, I have origin set to not auto update and a pack would never install unless I choose to. I often gift my daughter packs and asked her, she has game auto updates, she says it does sometimes download new packs with the update.

I just can not get into Sims 4 as a Sims game, it has none of the appeal that 2 or 3 had. I own all the packs, building wise it has some improvements but beyond that to me its really lacking. I have been waiting for Sims 5 for many years now.

How long in game before you noticed they where dieing?, all i am seeing is a rash for a couple of days and then its gone the option to re curse them then appears. Only played through a couple off weeks and cursed 30 Sims so far. Sims are not dieing from the uncommon crystal in my game now, they catch fire burn for a while…

I have still never seen an inactive die from the rare crystal but after a few dozen fails, i gave up. I will give it another try. I have noticed Sims are more likely now to extinguish other Sims on fire, they never used to bother when i wrote that original post. The uncommon crystal, is still what i am using to summon Grim.
