Thanks so much for your offer to help! I don't think I've ever coordinated with someone while working on my Machinima's over the years, aside from voice actors of course. I'll keep you updated however. It's a massive project with around almost 20 roles to cast which I finally completed a few days ago. You can get more up…
I think you should do whatever your heart and mind feels is best for you! If people choose not to embrace it, it shouldn't matter, as long as you feel good about what you did and are happy :)
I think you did a great job! I really enjoyed watching it and decided to subscribe to your channel. I'll be checking out your Cluedo series as well as I'm a huge fan of that game!
This was really cute! I think you should expand on this idea to tell a story and add some music. Another idea would be to show the dog from the Sims perspective as well. Was cute though :)
I really think it depends on the type of video you are making. I would think for a Music Video 4-6 min max, a Movie 20-30 min and for a series 10-15 min per episode. It's really about finding a balance between what you are comfortable with and the time the audience is willing to watch.
I would have to agree with ItsYukiMe, your audio and video quality were excellent, however, it really would be great to know a bit more about your Sims. Maybe their traits or their likes and dislikes :)
Typically OBS can help the FPS, as long as you set it up properly. You should do a google search on how to set it up to film in the Sims 4, try to find specs that are closest to yours.
Here's my Machinima channel that I'm looking to grow on youtube, Pcom Studios Machinima! I don't have a ton posted yet but will with an upcoming series!
I'm currently using OBS for in-game filming and Power Director for editing. I have used Movie Studio and Magix Movie Edit Pro in the past. Windows movie maker just doesn't cut it for certain situations.
Open your cheat menu (Ctrl, Shift + C) type in hovereffects [on/off] (Removes the white lines when you hover over an object or Sim ). So to turn it off type hovereffects off :)
Sorry if this is a silly question. Do you mean in game recording? If so The Sims 4 has a built in video function that you can use by pushing "v" and the same to turn it off.
Now Casting For Developing! You can go to my Facebook page or go to youtube and type "Pcom Studios Machinima" for more information :) Feel free to send me a message should you have any questions. Thanks all for your time :)
Hello all! I posted in another spot about making Machinima which is a hobby I enjoy :) I haven't made or produced anything since late 2008 but I'm hoping to get back into it using The Sims 4. Looking forward to getting to know you all and perhaps working with some of you via Machinima :)
