There's a LOT of ways to kill Sims in this one, and I find ghosts interesting. I have a family where I killed a Sim from old age (I picked a random elderly walkby and got really lucky after inviting them into my household, they kicked the bucket a few days later). Anger is fairly easy to do if you make a hot-headed Sim and…
Not with the way emotions work. One emotion will overpower the other until it wears off or is removed. It's REALLY easy to kill a Sim with emotions, and if you're cheating the emotion, I believe they stay put until removed or death.
You should create Playful paintings, enable their emotional aura, put them all over the room, have the Sim you're trying to kill read a funny book, watch comedy on TV, tell and be told jokes from someone with the hilarious trait (for the funniest joke in the world), have them make silly faces in the mirror, use the hats,…
I play with a large household (at least 5). One Sim is evil. The other is hothead and insane. The evil and hothead Sim have an enemies with benefits thing going on.
Blue screens are usually hardware failures or really bad operating system failures. We'd need more information on the bluescreen to be able to give any advice. My first suggestion is to make sure all your hardware drivers are up-to-date.
An arm and a leg. I think it retails around 3,000 give or take (I paid a bit more after taxes and shipping), but it would be cheaper to build by hand if you had the chops.
You could ask customer service. I honestly have no idea why it's still there. Since it's their fault, it would be dumb if they punished you for playing it, but I'm also a big chicken and would be afraid to risk it.
An example of a beast computer (one of mine): Windows 7 Intel Core i7-4770 CPI @ 4.40 GHz (8 CPUs) 16 gigs RAM GeForce GTX 770 w/ 4 GB onboard I don't recall what the soundcard is nor the motherboard. My game runs really well, but I think I may actually be over-specced for it.
My colors are fairly bright, but I like my houses looking like the 70s vomitted on it and with nothing matching except that they're all garish... but I can say this, I think you're right. Even though I can get the bright colors I want, I usually have to put down the item and try out the design tool, then delete the item or…
They did not put the feature in, so you can't without using the CAS cheat. The CAS cheat, unfortunately, is also somewhat buggy, as apparently it can screw up with relationships. :/ The cheat is CAS.fulleditmode when in CAS
I don't know if it will help you, but if I get lag, if I go into Origin and put it in offline mode, it helps. I also have saved a lot of Gallery houses though, so if you didn't do that, I don't know if it could help.
Oh, I was about to try and help, but I only know how to do it for Windows 7 :( Does Windows 8 have the snipping tool like windows 7? Maybe you can use that till either they fix the screenshots or you find a better solution.
The Electronic Arts folder in your documents is wehre your saves will be. If you haven't generated save data yet, it may not yet be there. I do not know about how safe it would be to move the entire game to a location like that or not.
