  • Any kind of Fortune aspiration has been hard for me, I don't think I've ever completed one. Children aspirations are also pretty difficult in my opinion, I believe I've only ever completed Rambunctious Scamp and that was just one time.
  • TS2 will (probably) always be my favorite Sims game but I am really enjoying TS4 right now, yes it does have it's problems (but don't all the games?) but I've been having a lot of fun with it! I could never really get into TS3, I played it briefly when it first came out and recently tried playing it again but I just can't…
  • In the past none of the Season expansions have been released in the summertime, it would be nice to see it released this summer but I have the feeling we'll have to wait till autumn for it.
  • I completely agree! I wish there were more diverse worlds and building options. I'd love to see more worlds and build tools with east Asian, African, and Indian influences! I love a lot of those countries architectural designs and cultures, so it'd be awesome to see that in the Sims franchise. I just hope if they did…
  • For sure The Sims 2! It was my first Sims game and is my favorite years later. It's the one I put the most time into (no doubt hundreds of hours) and I just simply adore it. The expansion packs were HUGE, they always added so much content and I love every single one. The stuff packs were big too which I really appreciate.…
  • Seasons has always been one of my favorite expansions since TS2! I miss the snow days, snowman building, ice skating, thunderstorms, falling leaves. Basically everything! What I also think would be interesting for them to add is along with choosing the seasons your town typically has is if you could pick what kind of…
  • It depends, if I'm making just one sim (which let's be real, I usually make at least 3+) it can take about 30-40 minutes. BUT if I'm making one for challenge purposes it takes at least an hour. Double or triple that if I'm making a household.
  • Ah this looks awesome! Think I'll have to try it out, even though I'm not the best at actually finishing challenges.

  • I don't think we will but that would be awesome! I've always wanted an expansion where you could go with the kids to school (like how the active careers in GTW work) but sadly I don't think it's gonna happen.

  • I've always loved the 10 Generation challenge, watching and playing it! I remember back when I was on the TS2 website I always read Generation stories and that's what got me into it. I also enjoy watching BAC and Apocalypse challenges, they're a bit too intense for me to try out but they are very entertaining to watch.…
  • Yes and no. Yes because I love alternate life states in my game (far too few right now for my taste) and if they were to put in a new life state I'm guessing it would be Plantsims and I loved them in TS2 so I'd be happy with that! However I also would say no because if they were to put a new life state in the game I really…
  • I think it's a bit of a stretch but it would be awesome for there to be open neighborhoods, but it'll probably be an expansion pack. (As long as it's not online stuff I'll be fine)
  • @GaiaHypothesis Thanks for the advice on downloading CC and for the link, love all the stuff! @GITTE2001 Thank you for the CC list!
  • Sims 2! It was the first sims game I ever played and I don't think anything can really beat it for me. TS4 is certainly a close second now since I've been playing it more but TS2 just has a certain charm to it that has been hard for me to find in other Sims games.
  • I just recently started playing TS2 again and I've been having a blast! It's been over three years since the last time I played it and I definitely remember now why it's my favorite Sims game.
  • I've only ever played the PC version of Sims 2 Castaway (and DS version) and I say you should definitely get it! I know the first week I got it I played the story mode three times I think? I was obsessed! If you liked the console versions I see no reason why you shouldn't like the PC version. (Not to mention that…
  • Apartment Life is fantastic! I love being able to actually have neighbors in the game that you can go say hi to since they're just right next door! Plus I love starting families by having a single sim move into an apartment and once they get married (or have kids) having them move into a house. Although like…
  • Right now I have a list of around 15 challenges I want to do so it's a bit difficult to pick a favorite right now. I've only ever done a legacy challenge before and I had gotten to the 4th generation (the farthest I had ever gotten in a legacy challenge before) before I accidentally deleted my legacy family! So I…
  • TS2 is just incredible, I've been playing it for eight years and it's still fantastic! I think every game in the Sims series is pretty good (all in their own ways) but Sims 2 will always take the cake for me. Can't wait to play it again when my aunt fixes my computer.
  • I usually start out with a least two sims (unless I'm doing a challenge that requires I start with one sim) because I always like having multiple sims to play, so I actually have to stop myself from making a full house of eight sims when I start the game because I really do like having to ''build up'' to that point. And I…
  • I never had a Family Reunion any time I've played, but now I defiantly have to try it! One day (when I was pretty new to Sims) I had discovered that a toddler can steal another toddler's bottle! It was pretty funny.
  • Oh wow, that's an incredibly hard question....can I say all of them? Okay but I'd have to say it's a tie between Seasons, Apartment Life, and Nightlife, I love all the EP's so it's really hard to choose.
  • From what I remember? No (someone correct me if I'm wrong), but having your sims(s) go to college and graduate will unlock a new career based on what your sim majored in. The four University specific careers (meaning you HAVE to have a degree to get that job) are Paranormal, Show Business, Artist, and Nature Scientist.…
  • I looked on Half and there is a copy that's used but it's in ''like new' condition for only $4.96 (plus shipping of course)! So, if you wanted to get it I would get it soon because that will probably sell pretty fast. It's a fantastic game, I think you'll like it a lot.
  • Maybe a toy store? Those are always a lot of fun to make. Yeah, Sims 2 had the best sim-on-sim interactions, even if you weren't controlling the sim! I loved all the sims' little quirks in the game.
  • I don't think I've ever seen any challenges for TS1 before, and this looks really cool (even if it looks hard)! And I never knew TS1 had a budget screen, that's pretty awesome! I don't think they put that in any other sims game, seems to be a pretty cool feature though.
  • Love it! So happy that you're updating again.
  • It's a bit more goal oriented than the other Sims Stories games but there is a free play mode (it's been awhile since I've played but I think you have to finish one of the stories to access free play mode) that is a ton of fun! I'd defiantly say to go and give it a shot, if you're not a big fan of the story mode I'm sure…
  • If you want to play just the base game then yes, you have to uninstall Apartment Life (and any other expansions you might have).
