I was so excited for this pack and was going to buy it on release. But the more I hear, the more deflated I feel. 1. There are so many build items, and they look great, but the Sims team had to put them all on a lot in Newcrest to show them off because Tomarang doesn't have any lots bigger than 40 x 30. It only has one 40…
Thanks for all of the replies! The lot is definitely set to residential, has a mailbox and even had one neighbour come over to welcome to neighbourhood (although he comes back to do it again every time I resume my game). I’ll try the focus camera idea, resetting the mailbox and will try deleting and replacing the front…
Thanks for your reply! I’ll try what you suggested. Edit: tried moving my sim out, deleting the lot, rebuilding and then moving my sim back in. Still no guests. Lot is recognised as residential.
I love the American fantasy high school idea - it’ll be fun to emulate tv shows and play with those elements. Looking forward to the pack! But it’s nothing like real high school here in Australia. We wear uniforms, we don’t have cheerleaders, we don’t usually have lockers. After-school sports are very important but only to…
Another old mining town? I’m sick of having scrap materials and abandoned shells decorating my worlds. When we don’t have the option to remove neighbourhood decor, they could at least limit that stuff to being only on buildable lots and placed with debug. I don’t like heavy theming, I want a blank slate, and we already…
I’m very excited for the new world! It looks like what I was expecting in the werewolf world: woodland lots by a river (except that I was disappointed by the wolf world that we could see abandoned factories from all lots, ruined my nature vibes). I like the look of the pier, and I’m hoping we get some sort of suburban,…
I like them, they’re cute. I hope there’s also a scarier version in CAS though, or that modders make some, because it’s fun to have freaky and cute options.
That’s a were-bear (in yellow)?I guess we have options for wolves, cats, foxes/lynxes and bears. I mean, why not have all the options? I’m wondering if the new log item marks out an area for pack hangouts?
The only kit I would buy would be a gameplay kit that was actually worth kit price. * TS2 Chemistry system - including turn on/offs * Babies/toddlers - strollers, bouncers, baby carrier things (I dunno, I don't have kids) * Old people stuff - bingo, walking canes, mobility scooters, new animations and activities for the…
I don't care about kits and will never buy them. That little flash after the... what's that colour panel thing called? Anyway, it quickly flashes a negative image of the kiss girl, and then a negative of the moon mountains. I think those two clips are both related to the gamepack: werewolves and a new romantic chemistry…
I'm hoping they do werewolves as well as they did vampires, and I'd love to have a return of the alpha wolf from TS2. I am also crossing everything I've got for a chemistry system (again, like TS2), and some more in-depth dating/relationship gameplay.
When the trailer dropped, I knew I was going to buy it full price, only for the world. But since watching the livestream disaster, I flat out refuse to buy this pack until it's fixed. Even if it's on sale, no matter how much I want the world, I will not reward EA and the Sims team for this pathetic excuse of a product.
I love this world! Looking forward to a new coastal town that is actually bright and sunny, because as much as I love Brindleton, it's just so rainy and overcast. Going to have to go and make a new sim and some lots. I'm not interested in the gameplay whatsoever, and I skipped all of it in the livestream, but I'll buy this…
3am release for us Aussies? I might have to try and arrange to have a "work from home" day on Friday, wish me luck! Happy for all of you who aren't essential workers and who hopefully have more time from no commute, who can stay home and play.
This mod is just incredible, Arnie is so talented. Could we play with this world and mix in the new items from Cottage Living? I feel like that would give us such a fleshed out, gameplay heavy and customised world to play in.
Gonna come to the defence of the "kitchen in a bar". It's not a bar, it's a pub. Pubs serve awesome lunches, dinners and sometimes even breakfast - they're a staple (I'm Aussie, and it's something we kept in our culture). We have so many bars in the game already and that's fine. I'd send my sims to a bar if I want them to…
I wish we could set outfits for gardening like we can for swimming. I like my sims to wear their cute casual clothes most of the time, but switch into overalls, gardening gloves, etc while they work. At least we can have multiple everyday outfits to switch into though.
* world overview * tours of each lot (residential and community) * introduce premades * CAS * Build/Buy I don’t mind keeping gameplay a surprise. I just want to know the place and people so I can start planning my builds and sim to play with.
I really like the one that comes with Cottage Living. Maybe once I have the pack, I’ll buy this kit to mix the counters. I almost never use game build/buy/cas and use mods instead, but these are both cute kitchens.
I love the pub!!! Looks like we’ll be able to sit in and have food/drinks too! Also, I hope that the guy in the pink shirt who owns the llama is going to be a townie. He’s cute!
That is the most tragic “festival” I’ve ever seen. A park, a couple of pop-up tents, a kiosk, a tiny stage and a crowd of 20 people? Yeeeesh. My mate set up a (not quite legitimate) local festival on his farm that was absolutely incredible compared to this! But everyone else seems to be enjoying it, so no harm, no foul.…
“Everybunny”, “beak”, the 11th April 2019 on the postcard... Just makes me think of Easter? Bunnies, obviously, chickens and the 11th April was smack dab between Good Friday and Easter Sunday last year. I have no idea how Easter could be the theme for this pack, but I get much stronger Easter vibes than farming at this…
I hope you guys get your fairies, either in this expansion or their own game pack :). I’ve never played sim fairies before. I think of fairies like I did when I was little: as tiny little magic people with wings who live in the woods under toadstools. They use spiderwebs as silk decoration and water droplets like…
