Idk if they're planning for it to be, but with everything being as laggy and glitchy as it is, and packs becoming more and more bare bones, I wouldn't be surprised if sales are going to be dropping a lot in the near future.
I built this one yesterday, and I think it's a fun and quirky little thing. The layout is based on an appartment I used to live in, and I built it as a house, so I thought that makes it a bit more fun and unique. The only bathroom in the place is en-suite, which is also odd if you share the house with a roommate, but,…
Idk where to post this, so if someone knows of a better topic to post this in, please tell me. But can anyone tell me where I can find these fairy lights so I can create a fairy light tree like this? I already know about the premade fairy light trees, but I really want to have the lights go from one tree to another.
Idk about that internet outage, but I preordered days ago and I just noticed I did get a confirmation email from EA, but there is no preorder in my payment history and I didn't get a confirmation of the order from Paypal. So I think they've been having issues since before that outage. Normally I'd get a 'payment pending'…
I use it when I'm making my Sims build skills for a long time in a row, or when they're doing something like showering, which isn't really interesting to watch.
Unfortunately, a lot of people can't afford that, so it's kind of a 🐸🐸🐸🐸 solution from EA's side... Really sucks to pre-order and get excited and then have to wait for your order to get canceled and refunded before you can buy it again :(
But the website isn't down. Not saying that means they weren't affected, but their online services seem to be working fine otherwise. I can open The Sims and the gallery, Origin is working fine, and their website as well. So downdetector probably won't have a lot of people reporting it as being down.
Kind of depends on what you like and how you play. I would get more use out of RoM than Dine Out, because I like supernatural stuff. If you like building careers, Dine Out would probably have more to offer. As for stuff packs; if you only want one, I'd go for Bowling or Nifty Knitting, as I feel those have most to offer…
It bugs me so much that I can't use shift+click to see how a flooring or wallpaper looks when in build mode during a design job. And sometimes the Sims don't like what you did to a room, even though you followed all their likes and dislikes to a T. One Sim liked programming, robotics and rocket science (and I didn't get…
Is this what the Sims design team considers to be modern? 😂 Maybe I'm behind on some design trends, but this doesn't look very modern to me. Okay I can't get the image to work 🙄 but the furniture in the trailer just doesn't look very modern.
Modular furniture, corner sofas, more beds without headboards, smaller side tables. A better filtering system to search for build mode items, such as key words, tile size, window size (not just relative to wall height). Spiral stairs, you know that. More table/small plants. More modern and multifunctional items, like we…
I think it makes sense to have a certainnset of base colors that all similar items come in, in every pack. Because right now, for example, everything comes in white, but they're all different shades of white, and it's so annoying. I don't need all wood to have the same texture, but sometimes it's almost impossible to match…
I like it, but it's too expensive for how little it offers. Which is the case for all the kits, but this one stings, because all the items are so lovely :(
I don't like them the way they are now. I'd much rather pay for a stuff pack. These kits really don't contain enough to be worth the price, imo, but the items they contain are usually quite nice and I would like to own them. I just don't want to pay €5 for those few items. And, tbh, the clothes in the 'retro' kit aren't…
I'm not too enthusiastic about a Sims MMO, but I think I'd have to watch a few people play Paralives before I decide if I want it or not. I like how it *looks* but how does it *play*? So, it's a waiting game, I guess.
I'm not a famous builder (by far), but I usually test my builds superficially before I upload. So I'll have a Sim just walk around and do some basic stuff (cook, sit, shower, etc), and if that works I'll upload. I can't imagine people who spend days creating a perfect build putting in the time to also test every little bit…
Here is my room for @rosemow ! I used some of her artwork for the walls, gave her a relaxing desk for playing the Sims, and a comfy corner for reading books and drinking tea (and eating baked goods!). Slideshow Images
Take all the time you need @rosemow ! Your contributions to the forum will surely be missed, but your wellbeing and that of your loved ones should always be your first priority <3 I haven't been on the forum for a while, but I always come back for this challenge, so I hope it can keep going! Maybe we can all suggest a…
@Mwnbeme I feel like all warm skin tones are red, and the cool ones are blueish/purpleish. Like they took the definition of cool and warm in color grading a bit too literally. I don't like this update at all :( I'm having a really hard time finding/creating realistic skin tones. And I've noticed the skin tone on the face…
Theme for the week: a kitchen with something you're thankful for Gallery name of room: Thankful for Cats Origin id: MikkiMikkiMikkiM I chose to be thankful for cats! I have three cats, and they always cheer me up, and I wouldn't know what I would do without them! So in this kitchen I created a little area for the cats,…
Theme for the week: A fall or spring themed kitchen I went with fall theme. When I think of fall, I think of moving more indoors, but still enjoying nature. So I put in a pumpkin and a basket of leaves, with the idea of someone making a 'fall table' (that is what we call it in Dutch). I also think of baking and pickling,…
If you want some inspiration you can check out the thread on this forum where people recommend builds for Maxis Fav. There are a lot of great builders recommended in there!
