I try to use white but when I exit and sign back in later, it defaults to green. Night mode would be nice, but as one who works nights I suppose it doesn't really matter personally...except that green .. Sim green-- is boring after 3 years in here.

Well we play with them a little but that's because they're a pain in the rear. That and, as I mentioned above, except for a few additional interactions like "help with homework"-- the parents don't really "recognize" them as anything other than ordinary sim children.
