  • Out of everything they could have done... this was it? I'd rather they kept niche things or other franchises out of the sims.
  • Basically, I want the Sims 5 to be a merge of The Sims 2 & The Sims 3. This includes:- 1. Actual personality's. Bring back wants, fears, memories, chemistry. If traits are to be included, make them relevant and useful. Currently, all the sims are exactly the same. 2. Less happy-happy more drama-drama. Currently you can…
  • Yep, absolutely. I'm not paying nearly £40 the celebrity systems which is basically a rehash of the vampire system, a tiny world with only 6(!!!) residential lots, and another active career. Get Famous is not worth the money in my opinion. I've really not seen anything that's blown me away. I'm more excited for the free…
  • Super disappointed with this world. I was expecting one as big as Windenberg. I'd rather settle for less FX in the background and more lots.
  • 1. I'm not fussed if they didn't make anymore occults. I'd rather they concentrated on more 'real life' gameplay 2. I love stuffpacks, the more the merrier! 3. I'm not fussed if we never receive terrian tools 4. I don't mind if we never seen open world for The Sims 4. I would, however, like it if they re-worked the current…
  • This system makes perfect sense! Love this idea! The current system isn't flexible enough. It doesn't make sense that my sim would change their whole entire outfit when they walk outside the door.
  • I would love a new city world. My dream city would be a mix between New York City and London. You could have one district with big, tall skyscrapers and another with smaller brownstone, Victorian townhouse architecture. One thing that I think is vitally important is that the neighborhoods have more spaces to build…
  • City living without a doubt. The world does not have enough lots to truly emulate a city. I would expect a City expansion pack to have a few more places to place community lots.
  • I'd be disappointed if there is no depth to the snow. However, I'm much more concerned about the fact that most objects placed outside don't seem to have snow appearing on them! Look at the street lights, the decorations etc...
  • Releasing a Create a World tool would be hugely beneficial to both the players and the Devs. They would no longer have to create a new world for each new expansion and they would be able to focus their time on gameplay.
  • I don't hate it and I think it added some nice things. I think I just expected more from the city. The city itself does not have enough lots. It's severley lacking in community lots especially. I really despise that I cannot place all the community lots I would want and expect to see in a City. I don't see why we are…
  • Does anyone know if there is an option in the MC Command Centre to not overfill the houses? For example, I currently have a bunch of 2 bedroom houses/apartments with 5-6 sims living in them. I just wondered whether there might be a setting that looks up the bedroom count on a home before moving any more sims in?
  • I normally agree with LGR, however, I feel this is the best stuff pack they've released so far. All the objects are designed to my personal taste and I will get lots of use out of them. Just a case of personal preference I guess.
  • I think the pack is ok-ish. I would give it a 5/10. I don't feel like it's added much aside from a new world and some careers. There should have been way, way more community lots. They could have added some community spaces at the bottom of the apartment buildings, especially since there is a loading screen between…
  • I totally agree with you OP. When I heard the third expansion pack was going to be based around a City, I was literally so excited. The more I learn and am shown, the more disheartened I am feeling. First there was the huge blow that apartments would be exclusive to San Myshuno. I mean, really? Who could have possibly felt…
  • Don't get me wrong, I do like that they've added yucky versions of the base game objects. I just wish that they'd made some individual objects too. Seems to me it was just a cheap, lazy option for them to recolour basegame objects.
  • Ah I see. What a shame. Guess I'll just have to travel back and forth between worlds if I wish to visit a community lot then.
  • I do see what you are saying, but it seems so odd to me that the chances are we'll never get a world with more than 30 lots when there are loading screens to enter lots. The lots you are not using are dormant until you load them up to play. With this in mind, I would say you could have as many lots as you like within a…
  • I do treat the current worlds that way. I live in a small town so it's not unusual for me to travel to another town for shopping or eating out. However, if I lived in a city (take London for example), I wouldn't need to travel to a neighboring town to eat out. There are tons of restaurants in the City that I could eat at.…
  • This. I can't help but feel a little bit sad that this will probably be the only City we will receive in The Sims 4, and therefore the only world that will make use of apartments. I don't feel the city is to my taste. I would have much preferred a NYC inspired city rather than the ultra modern looking city we are getting.…
  • City looks quite nice, I just wish that more of the districts were at street level as opposed to being elevated districts.
  • This is such a hard question to answer. I would probably go for Generations as the first one. It's not one that I personally need right now, but I know the majority of simmers are desperate for it. This would certainly help to put out the fire of all the angry heated debates and emotions the community is experiencing at…
  • I think they're pretty small. I think Get Together and City Living could have easily been merged and produced as one pack. As much as I like the clubs, if you removed them from Get Together, what would we have had? Windenberg and few gameplay objects. That's it.
  • Waste of resources and waste of time making it. Out of all the things this game is lacking, they choose to make this? Really?
  • I was hoping for more community lots so I could place some night nightclubs, bars, restuarants and other venues. What a shame.
  • Quite honestly, no. The majority of the community have been up in arms about features being diluted since the beginning of The Sims 4 franchise and what do they decide to do? Make apartments non-buildable and exclusive to one world! This is just one example. Furthermore, they could have eased a lot of tension within the…
  • People need to stop with the "it's a city" excuse. London is a city and there are loads of townhouses there.
  • I was excited, and then disappointed and now after the live stream I am severely disappointed. I've been playing The Sims since 2000 and have bought every single expansion pack. I just think that for £40, the expansion packs seem so "lite". We cannot build apartments from scratch, we cannot build apartments in other worlds…
  • It's not as big as I was expecting...
  • I downloaded TS4 yesterday on the game trial. I had been reading the reviews and these forums for a while which is a deciding factor on why I have not yet made a purchase. I am certainly glad no money has parted my hands for this game! I have been a huge Sims fan since the first game and have bought almost all expansion…
